It's Official! We are value resort people!

I'm with you - I don't spend nearly enough time at the resort to justify spending money on anything but a value resort. Maybe if I was down there more often, but for me and my ever 3 years or so vacations, value is fine with me!! :)

We've stayed at the Polynesian, once, AS Mu once, and Pop Century (80's!) once.

We had absolutely no complaints about the Value resorts at all. They;re no noisier than any other hotel I've ever stayed at and considering how little time we actually spend in them I think it's a great value.

We were staying at Pop when hurricane Charley came through (last year) and that was quite an experience. EVERYONE from the entire place was getting food in the dining room at the same time (all the parks closed at 11am, that day). But, despite the enormous crowd, everyone did get fed and although the lines were long, they did move! Hat's off to Disney!! :worship:

The landscaping is very nice at both AS and Pop ... but the grounds *were* prettier at the Poly.

For those of you who have stayed at ASMu and found it not crowded or noisy, were you there during a busy time? I'll be at WDW in June and haven't booked a room yet. I'm worried about the crowdedness and noise. Any comments? I sort of have the feeling that if we go into it with a positive attitude then we'll be just fine.

I am the OP here. We were there last week and were told that ASMu was booked almost 100%.

ITA about the positive attitude! :cheer2:
