It's official...Osborne Lights

A few days ago we had to cancel our October trip. I was looking at rescheduling in January but decided to catch the last week of F&W in November instead. Turns out we will be there for the opening of Osborne Lights which makes having to wait longer for our trip SO much more worth it! I've only seen them once and it was absolutely magical. This is GREAT NEWS!!!!

We've been going to MVMCP since I was in elementary school in the mid 90's. We've been almost every year since. I've never taken a trip to DHS to see the Osborne lights, but this will be the year. Excited they are back and will be there during our quick two night trip in December!

Oh no, I just checked several other planning sites and they are reporting the lights as starting on Nov 8th. That's when I check out. Say it aint so!!!!

This will be my wife and my first visit to see the Osborne lights and MVMCP. We also want to see the Christmas Processional at Epcot. Can we do both Epcot and the the same night? We only have 2 nights and Sunday the 30 this the MVMCP.

If you go to the first Candlelight Processional of the evening, you can easily walk over to DHS via the International Gateway exit of Epcot. You can watch Candlelight Processional by standing outside of the rope boundaries if you don't want to do the Dinner Package. It is a 40 minutes or longer program so lots of standing if you choose to be outside of the boundary. Dinner package and Standby guests do get seating.

Nov. 8th is day of Wine and Dine 1/2 and in years past the course ran thru lights. I'd think of all nights that would be one night they'd want to clear park ASAP ( I have no idea what time it's scheduled to close)

Awesome news! We aren't going for another year :/ I hope they have them next year too! I'm getting nervous reading some changes for the Christmas stuff like possible no Osborne lights next year and limited Main Street decorations, etc. We are trying this new time frame, mainly to see the decorations. Wish it was this year!! Enjoy everyone!

I think the "special thing" referred to Osborne Lights and MVMCP occurring during the OP's visit.

Glow with the Show ears are indeed synced to Osborne Lights... it began last year.
