Miscarriage of justice. Anyone want a reservation for 5/19?

That's a huge bummer. Never had a change to eat there, and now I believe the only thing I would eat would be the noodles, vegetables, and salad. Such a shame.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Ohana had become my new favorite restaurant! There's nothing for me to eat now except the side dishes....

Is there anything they can prepare for a picky younger child, that's not listed? We were going to go with the chicken, but since that's out...

The rest of us will love it, we're shrimp and steak folks.

Take this with a grain of salt, but like you, we will still love the menu.... our kids... not so much! So I went over to wdw and started a chat with a Cm.
She said that they have chicken strips listed in their resources as available on the kids menu. Can anyone *ahem Rusty* confirm this for us??? :)

I've got to think there will be at least one more entrée dish. It seemed like there were more than that before.

My kids got Mac & Cheese last Nov. The waiter just brought it out. No mention of chicken fingers.

We were asked what my toddler wanted last time we went. Usually its anything off the kids menu at Kona Cafe.

I understand you can get some options for kids including chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, hot dog and grilled cheese. But as long as the kid is 3 or older, you pay the same as you would for the family style meal.

My oldest always gets something other than the traditional offerings. I know she's had hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and I think she had a hamburger last fall (could be mistaken)... she has now decided that steak is the best thing in the world so maybe she will try it this fall. :thumbsup2

Whew... i didnt realize it was the norm that kids could get different foods. Yall have resorted my faith in humanity. hehe All jokes aside, I am glad that we will still be able to try Ohana in Sept, chicken or no chicken.

That is such a bummer. There is enough to eat there that we will still make a reservation for our arrival day but I wish they still had chicken.

Can't Disney actually leave 'anything' alone??? $$$ signs and changes are all they can think about! :headache:

Seems like dropping chicken from this menu is such a random change, but maybe they are thinking that with the coriander chicken wings, they are still providing a chicken option? Still seems like chicken was the safest best to get kids to eat the normal menu rather than having to bring in something different altogether (mac and cheese, nuggets, whatever). Both of my kids (9 and 12) love steak, so we'll have no problem when we're there this summer but I thoroughly agree that this seems like change just for the sake of changing something. Can't imagine that with the family style "meat-fest" approach to dining there, anyone would have actually complained that chicken was an option. Just seems odd.

Put us in the disappointed camp. We've always enjoyed the chicken more than the beef and pork. I've always skipped the shrimp because I don't enjoy having to peel them.
