Hey everyone!!!

So excited there is an october 2014 thread started!!

As long as the TOT 10M is the same weekend as this years DH and I will be in WDW 10/3-10/10!! We are so excited! We weren't able to swing it this year with our big move to a new house. But that's ok because all that means is I have more time to plan and make this trip EPIC!

Looking forward to chatting with all of you and planning together!

I am getting more excited for this trip by the day. I started planning our May 2013 trip in May 2012, and was excited from day one. My fiance is not the type to get excited about trips until he is actually THERE, so he didn't show any excitement until the ten hour journey was over and we were actually headed to Universal.

This time around, HE'S the one who planned the vacation, and he can't stop talking about it. Now that he has been there, he knows what rides he liked, what he wants to do FIRST, that he wants to ride TOT, the mountains,Transformers and the HP rides multiple times, etc. He's like "Can we go to Busch Gardens too?" I said we could but it would mean a day away from Disney and he said forget it. So excited my husband to be has the Disney bug now!

Just to clarify, when I say he "planned" the vacation, I mean he decided he wants to go to Florida, do two days at USO and the rest at Disney Parks and stay at Pop. The logistics of actually keeping tabs on prices/special offer,s booking flights, checking crowd calanders,etc will still be my jurisdiction, no doubt lol

Count me in as part of the Oct 2014 group! We just got back last month. It had been several years since we went and it was DS(4yo)'s first trip! DH saw how much DS loved it so suggested I take him back next year for his fall break. My DH won't be able to go because of work , so I asked my MIL to join us. She jumped at the chance since she has never been. I'm so excited to be going two years in a row, and even more excited to share this with my MIL who has never been! DS is also happy that grandma is coming too.

It would be our sons seventh birthday as well...we still haven't decided for sure though.

Not too early for me. I'm very excited... new to DISboards and this will be our first trip to WDW as a family. We're going late October 2014 for our son's 7th birthday. YAAAAY!

Sooo, our plans will include the Halloween Party (hopefully), Food/Wine at Epcot, and everything else!

Haven't been in October in probably 30 years (when I was 9 ), the last times we went were in May and June.

I'm hoping the first two weeks will be normal crowds and not too, too hot!

What does everyone like about going in October? Get me excited!!

We've gone in October before and loved it. The Halloween decorations are cool. The weather was very hot the year we went. Last year we went at Thanksgiving and the Christmas decorations were awesome! The weather did get cool (sometimes cold) at night but you could swim during the day. Both DD are excited we are going in October and not at Thanksgiving again (which was plan #1). Plans so far:

Wilderness Lodge- though I might have to change this (don't want to) but both the car and truck need new tires.

16th - Hoop-Dee-Doo (if we get and early flight) otherwise Wolfgang Puck Express
17th - 1900 Park Fare - breakfast or dinner - can't decide which charaters I want to see more
18th - Sci-Fi Diner - dinner
19th - Tusker House - breakfast
20th - Epcot day- can't decide between Rose and Crown, Via Napoli, or Coral Reef
21st - Whispering Canyon Breakfast
22nd - Beaches and Cream

It's too long away!!!
