IT'S OFFICIAL!!!****OCTOBER 2014****...ROLL CALL!! Join the party!

Wife and I will be there from October 4th through October 11th!!! Only 87 more days!!!

DH and I are headed down to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary 10/3-10/7, split stay BLT and BWV!

Is it October yet? I'm finally into double-digits (97 days!), but am itching for something to do! I play with TouringPlans almost everyday and almost got my suitcase out this weekend! I've rearranged my park schedule a dozen times, going back and forth between the easywdw and touringplans recommendations. I need a distraction, lol...

I think we are at 93 days until our wedding, 96 from Florida (Universal), and 101 from Disney!

i've already posted in this thread, but can't help posting again. Today we are 99 days out (or to put it another way, 3 months and 1 week). i've already started packing (several months ago). Working on our petsitting/housesitting instructions. We have a fabulous woman who cares for our pets and house when we're gone. Within the next month i need to settle on a company from which to rent scooters for me and my sister. i'm buying Disney gift cards every month to cover our food and souvenirs. Too soon to make Fast Pass and BOG lunch plans. i just might be running out of things to do to get ready for this vacation. :rolleyes1

Wow! For your first trip you sound like a seasoned pro! Just want to make sure you know Kona Cafe is at the Polynesian and not MK. You can take the monorail or a boat there from MK though if leaving the park for a little downtime is part of your plan.

Thanks for the compliment :) I have been I obsessing a bit, which isn't like me but it's been fun reading all these boards. Thanks also for the Kona tip. I figured we would ride the monorail, but do you know if we could take a boat of some sort to get there?

Yes, there are resort boats that will take you to the Polynesian and back to MK. Maybe ride the monorail one way and a boat the other! Have a fun first trip! BTW, DH and I also arrive 10/26. We are staying at CSR. We head home 11/3.

Been a while since I checked in...HOLY COW! Are all of these DISers really going to be there in October? Amazing! I'll be at POP 10-17 to 10-26. There will be a clue in my window. Anyone else at POP during that time?

Coming a little late to the party... but just made plans today to stop by WDW for a night while visiting family, and go to MNSSHP!!:cool1:

I've never been in October before. I went to a MVMCP waaaaaay back when (as a kid) and we did the very last P&P party in 2008. Looking forward to a new adventure!

We are staying one night (10/3) at POR, and doing the party that night. We'll be coming over from MCO sometime that morning (flight gets in late the night before) so hopefully we can get our room early and relax a bit before heading out to the party.

Is anyone doing a MM share, or want to join one with me? I hate to buy it for just one day, though I suspect we'll get a number of pictures from the party.

Edit - Okay, I decided we'll just stay both nights at POR (10/2-10/3) We won't get in until midnight, but it's cheaper than staying at the airport, and then I know we'll have the room all day Friday to relax and get ready for the party!

We're at Pop the 19-28!

Our trip is back on. The second time for everything went up in the air. Thank God it's back on. Will you please put us back on the list. Oct. 1-6 off site at Venetian Bay Villages, and not doing MNSSHP as of right now. Only 78 days to go!!!

Hey looks like a great itinerary, I just have a couple of suggestions. If they let you in the park at about 8:45/8:50 you should be at BTMRR by 9 am, and through the line and the ride by 9:20, in line for Splash at 9:25...Splash itself is an 18 minute ride, so probably plan to exit splash just prior to 10 am depending on crowds. You should be able to make it to POTC by about 10 and you should be able to be in line for Jungle Cruise at about 10:30, done by 11. if you get 11:15 at BOG, you may want to save your Peter Pan FP for after lunch.

Now, the crowds that day could be fairly low and you could very well be able to stick to the schedule you set out..I'm just saying allow a little extra time in the morning :)

Well ladies and gentlemen do to my work schedule I will not be going in October :-( But thanks to my wonderful travel agent mother we are going to be able to go in November.
