We will be at All Star Sports from 10/1 to 10/6. First time to Food and Wine! Very excited can't believe I talked my husband into a trip during football season!!!!

We go every October. My husband spends the entire Sunday of our trip at ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk resort watching football. I mean ALL day. People begin lining up to get in at 11:00 am. They won't seat you until your entire party arrives. He stays until 8:00ish. I go off and enjoy myself at the parks or DTD while he and his friends who live locally meet him there and do that.

Please add us to the roll call. Had planned to take a year off from Disney but can't come up with anything we'd rather do, I am super excited and DH is getting there. DD12 and DD10 don't "know" yet, but the old one suspects and was worried that we are within our 180 days and wouldn't be able to book any TS! I told her that it's under control, which, for her, means I snagged CP breakfast and TH breakfast at 8:10 a.m.

Anyway,
Sep 28 at POR so DD10 can sleep in a Royal Room. Then, switch to our old fave WL (with the pool construction) Sep. 29-October.4.

New to the boards, just booked 10/3-10/8 Pop Century upgraded meal plan thing and TRYING to find TS meals ... many places booked of course. Maybe we'll luck out and someone will CXL for Be Our Guest for Mon 10/6 dinner so we can snag a spot!!!! (hahahaha) My two little boys were 3 and 5 last time we went in 2011 and we were OFF property. They're older now and will be able to ride more things and they EAT MORE at 6 and 8, so we'll be living it up with the TS and QS and snack deal. This whole meal plan is new to us and I'm reading all sorts of reviews and making some reservations. Feeling a tad overwhelmed, but excited!

If you are able, check every day for ADRs. You never know what will pop up, especially around 45 days out when people have to pay in full or cancel their trip. I just got Tusker House breakfast at 8:10 a.m. after stalking the Disney site for a month (we booked within the 180 day window this year). And, just know that eve if you don't get your first choices, you will still have a great trip.

We are packers fans and they play on the Thursday of our trip so plan to do epcot that day so he can go to boardwalk while we watch fireworks and such. On Saturday for the Alabama and Auburn(me) games we will be at AK that morning and plan to either spend the afternoon at the resort or at Splitsville to watch those games.

Solo Pop Oct 15-18. 20% paid so far Yay!!! I have learned, that next time I make a Disney reservation, I want to have all the money on hand to pay 100% when making the reservation so I won't feel so nervous!!!

I'm so excited to be going back to Disney in October!

DS and I will be there 10-5 through 10-10 and we are staying at POFQ. We are also going to MNSSHP on 10-5!

Similar plans for DBF and I! So excited to stay at POFQ for the first time. We arrive September 29th and leave October 8th. Checking out MNSSHP too, but not sure of the date yet!

We were going to go to Florida and do Disney for a week, then go to Jamaica for a week, but we ditched the idea of Jamaica and decided on two weeks in Florida for our honeymoon. Then we were going to do Jamaica in Spring 2015 but we both decided we'd rather two more weeks in Disney Can't wait! Its been hot here the past few days so with all the sunscreen we have bee using it really smells like vacation to me. I also bought the Unofficial Guide to Disney I know I can get all the info online but I like having it all in one place (and I'm old school and prefer actual books to online stuff)

Two weeks at Disney! I would LOVE that. We have been doing 9 days the last few years. And I totally agree about real books vs. e-books.

I have not been to WDW for 20+ years and my son has never been. We have two vacations planned, one in Sept and one in Oct (meeting friends each trip). We will be staying at POR and CSR. We are both very excited. Watching the tickers is like watching and waiting for a pot of water to boil.
