I booked LM rooms for March 2013 with AAA discount! Hoping a better one comes along but at least I have a room!

Thanks! I added my AAA discount to my RO reservation at AKL! 15% off so far. I'm hoping to get an even better discount in the future, but that's a good start!

We booked our trip for February today also! So excited and our kids don't know about the trip either, as we plan on surprising them at Christmas. We want it to be special, since it's our first trip for all of us, and also, if they knew this early, it would kill them with anticipation to wait until Feb! SOOO excited. I didn't get misty eyed making reservations, but everytime I talk about how the kids will react with my husband I get very teary. I think I may really cry when we get there!

We made a paper chain with a link for each day we had before going to Disney, and each day the kids tore one link off the chain. It was neat to see the chain shrink over time, and I kept the final link and put it in our box of mementos from the trip.

There are lots of fun things you can do to count down the days!

How exciting! I booked yesterday too (surprising husband as he'll spend his 50th birthday there, hopefully in his "dream" hotel but that's a whole different story). I was a little disappointed though that they said there was no way to stop the confirmation from coming in the mail -- I just have to pray I get home before he does so he doesn't see it.

I'm on the phone w/ Disney. I'm getting my AAA discount @ POR standard view room!! I hope when time draws nearer that they will offer a better discount.. but for now, I'm happy to take anything!

I'm confused -- can you get a AAA discount when booking a package? Or that's for the room only and you have to pay for everything else separately?
