We are leaving for WDW on Saturday.

I;ve had my Emerald Aisle reservation for months, and it has gone down little by little from about $135 total to $98.00 for 4/9 pickup at MCO with 4/16 drop off at TPA.

I was thinking about upgrading to Emerald Reserve with a full size car since we are starting to pack and I am thinking that the amount of stuff we have to take with a 3 year old and a 5 month old is going to be tight in an Intermediate.

I checked emerald reserve and found a full size was now the same price as the intermediate was a couple weeks ago - $98.23 in total rate + taxes.

I jumped on that and got the emerald reserve service.

Out of curiosity, I checked emerald reserve for the same dates - it is now down to $88.64 - another $10.00 drop.

Even if you leave in just a few days, check your reservations - National may have gone down again.

Can you tell me what codes you are using?

I am looking in the time frame of June 14-20th. We have already reserved a van through Alamo (we have 7 people) but I'm concerned that with luggage, we will be cramped, so I'm not thinking of two cars. I see that some people are getting these low rates, but I've not gotten anything cheaper than $125.00. What are you using.

Mine just went down too!!! Now at $107, for 8 days. WOO HOO!! I really did not think I could get it lower that the $113 from last week. Mine has consistantly went down a little at a time. Orig. $178. I'm just so tickled.

I used the priceless code 6600330, and the entertainment book coupon # 10009123.

Christine: If you don't have a membership to the Emerald Club, you can get the link to a free membership on Mousesavers.com- You can print the entertainment coupon there too I think. If not you can go on the entertainment book website, and get a free trial to print a few offers. Anyone can use the priceless code.

Hope this helps.

I made my last reservation for a 9 day rental in Oct, on March 3. The total rate with Priceless and Entertainment is $144. Ever since it has steadily gone up. Just checked again and now it's up to almost $300! Glad I reserved when I did! I'll keep checking and maybe things will change when I get much closer to the date.

Checked mine this morning (leave next tuesday 4/12). It went down another $5 to $83.23/week total for intermediate. They're practically giving cars away . Used priceless and entertainment $20 codes.

I'm down another $6 for our full size rental! It's now $115.47 incl tax/fees! :cool1:

I was just wondering if anyone has used the continental code with success, that codes gives me $25.00 less than priceless making it $129.00 for 10 days. It would be great if this code works!!

Just for the record - the free trial coupon printouts canNOT be used for National, according to their Customer Service reps. You have to actually have the coupon torn from the Entertainment Book.

ETA: Here's a coupon link I found in another thread - http://www.nationalcar.com/servlet/...066914&PROMOTION_CODE=10009123&XDATE=12/31/05

Or, if you do have an entertainment book, you can go online after you've registered your card and get an on-line coupon also.

Emerald club allows you to skip the counter and go straight to the garage and pick your car. The only exception to this would be if you needed a carseat, or had an upgrade coupon. Then you would have to stand in line, but it would be the emerald line, which is shorter than the reg. line.

Since joining the Emerald club, I have also gotten e-mails, w/ specials about every other wk.

And this is free? I jsut go to mousesavors and click the travel agent and agree to terms? Do I need to print anything? Thanks a bunch

Thanks, Kris

Goodness! I booked my car on Thursday evening for $120. I checked it again yesterday morning and it was down to $106.00. Checked it last night and it was down to $97. Still at $97 this morning. This car thing is going to wear me out.

Can anyone help? Can anyone tell me if this is right?

Kris,
Yes, if you follow the Turner Travel link from www.mousesavers.com, it will throw into the National Emerald Isle enrollment. As you sign up (and yes you have to give your credit card number) you will see that the $50 fee is waived. It made me a little nervous but it worked. There are no coupons required. It will print out an enrollment card with a member number on it and you will have to have your card and/or member number when you rent the car.

As for the Entertainment Book coupon, you will have to have this at the counter. If you're not a member of the entertainment book, then I'm not sure how you can get the coupon.

Christine-Kris:

You only have to use the counter, if you are using an upgrade coupon. If you are using the $20 off weekly rental (10009123), you can bypass the counter, and head straight for the car. :moped:

Cool huh!! :sunny: :sunny:
