David is with me.... he took today off and tomorrow will work while I am in my meetings and then we drive home together tomorrow after my meetings.

I suspect that I will be leaving here around 2 pm which means I will get home (if lucky) around 8 pm.

We'll be staying at Kidani Village in less than three weeks. Yippee!!! And I was wondering, does the 2-bedroom dedicated villa have one full balcony that stretches the length of the villa or is it separated into two?

The dedicated 2 BR's have ONE balcony. We had one about 3 years ago.

I don't remember there being a "kitchenette" area in the 2nd bedroom, either, for that configuration.

Question for anyone, how do you make reservations for Sunrise Safari ? Do I call AKL or do I call WDW? Someone said they had conceirge help them and it was done through email, but I don't have an email for anyone in conceirge! Regardless, would like to find out how/when I can book!

If you have a confirmed AKL-CL reservation, you can contact the IPO and they reserve the Sunrise Safari for you. They need your CC # for guarantee, but your card is not charged until the morning of the Safari.

I thought we were cutting our business trip short and coming home today, but that's not happening. 2 more days here, with no work to do!


AKL IPO came through for me this morning! The F&WF frenzy started today at 7am. IPO got our reservation for the Mexico Tequila Lunch on 10/14!!! JD (that's my DH! ) will be so happy!!

One thing to keep in mind: Delta charges you for checked bags, JetBlue doesn't.

You probably know that, but whenever I see anyone pointing out the Delta is a cheaper option, I feel the overwhelming, all-encompassing need to point it out.

Probably because checked bag fees tick me off. It means that, even when I get a "final price" for airfare, I have to do more math. Nobody (sane) wants to do more math.....

Yeah, I did know that, and it totally irks me too.

Ok, I have a 3 scenario situations, I'd like opinions on..I think I'm going w/B.


A) Fly on JetBlue to WDW on Fri, I'd have to get the earliest flight because the flight I want is $290 just one way...BTW, I have an Amex JetBlue card.


B) Fly down on Thurs instead, I get an extra day in WDW I can take a later flight and save over $100. But thats means taking another day off from work (should have the time) an extra day to budget for food, but this portion of the trip is solo, so no TS would fine anyway.'

C) Fly Delta...Which obviously wont earn me any miles whatsoever, I dont have a Delta credit card, and the Sky Miles just from this one trip wouldnt amount to much...HOWEVER, it's cheaper than both above scenarios.

Hey everyone! I can't believe how quickly this thread moves when you take a few days off!

I did read up but probably can't comment on everyone. I do want to get my $.02 Ann. I think he might be taking you to one of those inclusive resorts, but that's only a guess!

So many people with upcoming trips how exciting! I decided not to get up at 4AM and book any events. The only one that I'm really wanting is PFTS and I'm hoping that doesn't sell out.

Our weekend was fabulous, but incredibly exhausting. I have a lot to catch up on and over a thousand pictures for my TR!

Jen, it would be hard to choose between getting an extra day at Disney or doing delta. Where would you stay that extra night? I almost think it would bs more hassle to have to move again after one night. I think I'd go with scenario #3.
