No, its not difficult at all.

There is a free internal tram service between all the terminals at CDG. You just look for the signs for the CDGVal. Hop on, and there are announcements as you arrive at each stop. The tram runs every 10 minutes or so, and it only takes a few minutes to get from terminal to terminal.

Hi, yes you catch the internal CDG Val. But you do need to come out of terminal 3 and turn to the right, walk for about 4 or 5 mins through a little tunnel across a road and down into the interchange, from where you can catch the CDG Val. Really easy and straight forward.
