Good Morning! I'm at work today - we had 27 inches of snow - broke a record for Central Park!! I wish I was by the fire with coffee

Good news is i finally got to wear my new Uggs that I got for Christmas - they are the most COMFORTABLE boots i have ever owned

I think they called them "dusk" - sort of a brownish, mauvey color. They were sold out of black or tan, and this color is better for me for work because they are neutral and go with my "work" pants, which are usually black.

They also looked pretty good with jeans on the weekend!

I had on my new Maui Jim sunglasses today, too! I did look "too cute" for my age!!

Did you get your taxes done this weekend? Were you at the house? Merlot?

Weekend in a nutshell:

got there 9PM Friday - threw in a load of laundry, put frozen stuffed shells in the oven, opened Merlot, lit duraflame in fireplace.

Add, drank, folded!

Got up Saturday - more laundry, coffee, went to tax man, had painter come over for estimate, got in car at 3PM - snow was already falling!

Got to NY - put away laundry, made shrimp scampi (more wine!) watched blizzard until Sunday at 4PM> shoveled out car, and ....

here I am at my desk again! Boy, am I tired!

What color paint are you going to use? We have a lot of touchups to do here. I am starving! Can someone go get me some food?

I'm hungry too! It's 2PM here and no lunch yet!

I don't know all the colors yet; the living room will be a sort of deep taupe with lighter color on the ceiling, white trim. I think the front foyer and hallways will be some sort of green (maybe like sage?). I'm having wallpaper taken off the powder room walls and doing a faux paint, but I don't have a clue yet what color I will use.

I'm seeing the decorator again on Monday to help me choose the colors - I'm so excited - I wish I could just get it all done tomorrow!
