Swedish Meatball - If she LOVES architecture, I'd tell her to go for it. If she doesn't - Arch. school is very, very demanding and the workload is very good at weeding out the undecideds & less-than-enthused in the first couple of years. Most schools are nicknamed Architorture schools for that reason.

She's still in HS and is now in Drafting II. In May she is flying into Chicago and her Grandpa is taking her to some kind of open house for Frank Lloyd Wright. She is really looking forward to that. She is considering NC State. It's supposed to have a good architectural engineering program, plus it's close to home.
