I love eating at CRT...just being in the castle is cool but breakfast (what I had both times) was not very good. I read the dinner menus on all ears and nothing sounded good to me. Now if they'd let me order the kids tenders or do me a kids tender over pasta like they brought Jack w/ a cream sauce I'd like that. I'm not a big steak lover. Once in a blue moon I'll have a filet. The bread does look yum as does the dessert! I've never had good service there. It's always been "cold" and mediocre. It's like they'd die if they broke a smile. The wands make it through our vacas but we've never kept a sword in one piece before.

Poor little fella....those allergies must make him miserable. I'm happy to hear the chefs took good care of him. Your DD has stars in her eyes in every picture! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip. I sure wish you guys would reschedule and go when we go. I have to stay with that weekend because of school. We could all go for 10 days....do water parks...deluxe dining...make it a huge Grand Gathering and do all the specialty stuff! How fun!

See I wanna try breakfast there next time, but I have heard from almost everyone tha the breakfast there stinks..total bummer See the stuff on the menu sounds a lot fancier then I think it may be. But then again we both had the steak so I can't honestly comment. I may try something new next time. I agree about the coldness of the wait staff.. at leastthis go around. In 2005 we had the best server ever, so I was kinda bummed this time. Our sword made the whole trip.. I did keep it mostly hidden though lol

The allergies make me more miserable then they make him. He's still kinda too young to know what he's missing out on (like chocolate peanut butter cake!) but is starting to become very aware that he can't have cake,cookies, and such. But like I said the chefs were awesome. many made milkshakes,egg/nut free cookies. It was nice to have someone do that for me! and I wish we could reschedule too, but too many plans are already in place ooh man, grand gathering does sound so fun though!!when are you going again lol

OOOh, your gonna love CRT..like i said it was better in 2005, but I really loved it here.. I can't wait to hear what you think about the pretzel breaad..def try the honey mustard butter!! you will thank me!!

and thanks for the adorable compliment Unfortunately John does not have a younger brother... but i will take that as a compliment as well.. he's not bad looking for being so old.. he turned 37 on our trip!! he does however have some very good looking single friends!!

I am going at the end of August as soon as the promo starts. That way the kids don't miss much school.

CRT breakfast is so rushed and the food is gross. Mine was always cold and stale tasting. If you don't rush and eat they become total jerks! I love being in that castle though!

Today was our first fully day and we were all completely stoked!! I was especially excited because today we got to meet OhioDisneyLover(Sophia) and her family!

We started the day off with 9:05 adr's at BOMA. We got there at about 8:45 and were seated 5 mins later. I was really surprised about that as after doing all of my massive dis research and millions of calls to change my adr's I was expecting a huge wait. Not the case. They were even taking walk ups! I didn't really know what to expect of this place, but we loved it!! We will definitely be going back there next trip! I can't remeber the name of our server, but she was great!! I will say that this was the beginning of very many dissapointing coffee eencounters. you would think with the amount of money disney makes that they would serve better coffee! With enough creamer and sugar it did the job though. I also really loved the juice they serve at Boma. I'm not a fan of juice so it was a pleasant surprise. John LOVED it too and ordered almost 3 glasses! The only I found dissapointing here was no zebra domes! I really wanted to try these! Next time The banana bread here was soooo yummmmy! Kayla ate that like it was going out of style!! The buffet here was ginormous!! Great fruit selection, good bagels and toppings. Lots of yummies! I took lots of pics of it here, John was pretty mortified lol!

Unfortunately the sun was shining right on us!

So after our fabulous first breakfast and walk around the beautiful AKL we decided it was time to go to DAK. Stupidly I had no plan for this park.. for any of the parks actually. It was quite the learning day. It was hot as alll heck this day!! It felt even hotter once we hit dak! Parking was a-ok here. I remember reading what a pain it is to park and how I should just use disney transport.. I disagree! We found driving to all the parks was easiest. Once we got into the parks we saw lots of fun meet and greets and were very excited to see this dude

and then him

after that we kinda walked in and didn't know what the heck to do.. my mind just wasn't in vacation mode yet or that's exactly what it was in and I just didn't know where to start! So we took pictures

We were only there about 20 mins and you can see how sweaty and gross we were!! John makes fun of me because all I wear is black. He especially felt the need to do so today. I would like to pint out the lime green shorts!! They are a color and were my dis wear..queer i know lol!

So like I said, we walked around aimlessly.. I just didn't know what to do. We went over to the safari ride and got fast passes, then let teh kids play with all the drums

after this we decided to go on the wildlife express train to rafikis planet watch.. this was pretty snoozeriffic ;/ but cool at the same time. I think the real problem was that we were anxious to meet up with SDophia and her family and I coudn;t concentrate on doing anything else! We did love the egyptian turtle at the conservation station! they were no slowskys!! John's obsessed with buying one now!

This was the train guide, I pretty much loved him!

After that we went into.. Idk what it was called, maybe the bat station lol.Whatever it was it was awesome. It was an exhibit with these giant bats! the bats wing span can be up to 6 feet in lenghth per wing!!

Awe thanks My df was mortified that I was taking pictures of all the food. I'm hoping some people get something out of it! Honestly yes I did think they would have zebra domes for breakfast I mean crap they have tons of other junky types food..why not zebra domes!!

My daughter loved the buffets! it was nice to have so many choices.. i'd like to add that I think boma makes eggs or omlettes to order but I don't recall seeing it.. then again i was too busy taking pics and trying to find food for jack to eat

Hackers..what a good movie! andywho, I left you off with my new batty friends that we sat and watched for like 45 mins!! We were really amazed by these guys! My computer crashed earlier hence the short post ;/ After the bats I started texting sophia (ohiodisneylover) some more and asked where they were. She told me they were over by Kali river rapids. Now that I love her I gotta admit I was scurrred to death of meeting her lol!! I have social anxiety and even worse stranger anxiety!! Plus I never know if people love me as much as they say or just say it to get me to piss off So I get tp the area that she os at and i"m texting her.. then I get the "I see you" text. I instantly feel awkward and wonder if I was picking my nose or anything else equally embarrassing when I thought no one was looking I of course don't see her.. then I see her hubby Joe waving his arms!! Well it was love at first sight!! All my scurred anxiety was instantly put to ease!! Sophia is the sweetest woman ever!! Like a big ray of sunshine, and I love her voice..lol weird I know.. and her hibs, well me and him..2 peas in a pod..totally sarcastic,disgruntled,smarty pants peas in a pod that is!! He is also very sweet and so funny and best of all him and John hit it off big time!! Hopefully they never gang up against us and say no more disney...let me not even joke! I also met Sophias mom and eventually nephew and sister. Also all lovely people! I def see a future of September make out seshes in Kayla and Matt's future Sophia and I chatted for a while and then I could not stand the heat any longer and made her go with me to get some frozen lemonades and drinks!! Meanwhile my kids were playing in the little water area while Joe and John got all buddy buddy!! Did I mention it was hot as balls out that day?? I thought I was going to pass out!! Sadly Sophia and I did not get any pics together this day..lame.. but I did get some cute pics of my kiddies

After a while of bsing Sophia and I parted ways I told her that maybe I would see her at Mk and MNSSHP that Friday..even though we hadn't even been to the MNSSHP that we had tickets for yet! After we left, we were all kinda beat but we had to do Kali river rapids! That was our favorite last time, and it did not dissapoint this year!! I really like how they have that parent switch off fast past thingy! John and I were both able to get on with kayla in under 30 mins!

After this we decided it was time to go..never mind I missed the liion king show, bugs life, and dino land.. It was just toooo hot, and we were coming back here another day..or so we thought ;/

On our way out we decided to buy those little mister fan thingies... yeah idk why we bought them on the way out but we did. Jack thought these things were the bees knees! They provided lots of fun for the ride back to the car!

I can't recall what time it was that we actually left, but I know it was early enough to get us back to the resort, showered and over to WCC for dinner with our friends from back!!
