It's going to be cold this week!

Going down to the 30s at night. Brrr! I don't mind the cold during the day for park touring, but it's a bummer we won't be able to swim since it's our first time at the Poly.

This is our fifth winter trip, so I knew what to expect. We like the low crowds and love avoiding the heat. We usually get one warm day though. Maybe we can squeak a pool day on Saturday (75), before we leave. We check out that day, but we can still use the pool, right?

We have a whole day to spend at the resort. I think we will rent a bike one day. See what activities are going on at the resort.

Funny how fast temperatures change. We were there 12/20-28 and it was in the mid-80's. We were hoping for colder temperatures and on our last full day (27th) we finally got some.

I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter what the temperature is!

I've been checking temps every day now and yeah, three days are going to be in the 60s or 50s. But - I'll be at Disney World so I don't really care. Gloves and a hat go into packing.

We are hours from departure and I have packed EVERYTHING from bathing suits to gloves! We love winter but this is our first time doing this week. Do you really think we will have lower crowds? We are hearing maybe not???

You may be happy if it's crowded - it will help keep you warm! I think it will be kind of average crowds this week as people trickle home after the holidays, and then after the marathon weekend, it will go down a lot until MLK weekend.

Looks like I'll miss the worst of the cold - it's supposed to be really cold before I arrive and really cold the day I leave. I'm more concerned about my plants. I finally get a tomato on my plant and it gets cold! I don't have much luck covering plants, and don't want to leave them covered while I'm away. So I guess it's no tomato for me, lol!

Just bring things you can layer, so you can shed those layers as the day warms up and you'll be fine.

We are staying in Winter Park this weekend, but went to Chef Mickey's and Downtown Disney today. So warm! Hard to believe it will be so much cooler Monday when we check in. Crazy crowds here this weekend.

Mssandra, I packed everything too. Gloves, hats, coats, swimsuits, shorts, sandals, etc. So hard to pack with such varied temps.

Wish we could go swim tomorrow! "Um, we would like to do an early, early check-in...."

Can't wait til Monday! Bring on a cold day at Disney! It's still Disney!

Definitely layer or get a locker and put your warm gear in it for later.
