I know this is horrible - since we're only 4 pages deep - but, are you doing MVMCP? If so, which day?

I don't think so... we went to it in 2006 and it felt like too much money for what we got. I am happy I did it once, but probably won't again?

Your meals all sound so good, a lot of family must-haves! Oh man I can not wait another 3 weeks - AHHH let alone 3 months!!!

HaHa! I know...I'm dying inside to just go!!! And, these are just what we are thinking about...I still want to try and do something with you and your family. If we can coordinate a meal, that's great...if not, maybe a park or resort or DTD meet up!

There is no harm in making the ADR's and then once you are down there if you find it is just too much you can cancel. That is what I always do. I make the ADR's like I plan on going to them but half the time we just are not feeling it the day of so we cancel but at least with the ADR in place you for sure have a place to eat that day.

On my Ladies trip next month, we are going to try Boma and maybe 1900 Park Faire. I’ve been trying to get into Crystal Palace but it’s been a no-go (and that is for ANY meal, B, L or D!).

O’hanas – terrific -- and the Calif Grill is fabulous! You will love this -- for the food, service and setting. It’s on my list for my Sept trip.

I’ll let you know how MNSSHP is – I went to the Pirate/Princess party in 2007 (my daughter was along then) and we loved it – that’s why we are doing the Halloween Party – we are really still kids at heart.

I did the exact same thing. Aerosmith cancelled again... we got a good laugh at that one because it was just icing on the cake where our disney trip was concerned... I guess it wasn't meant to be!! (i.e. his surprise, the concert, the photos etc,)

Thank you.. When i told her that I had mentioned her in my blog and that a lot of people who don't even know her where praying for her... she started to cry.. I could tell it meant a lot to her.

Just found your pre trip report! Sounds like a fun trip. We just got back from staying at AKL and loved it there. We tried Boma for breakfast, and didn't find it anything out of the ordinary, just typical breakfast foods...it was good though!

Just curious, was the MVMCP not as good as P&P & MNSSHP?? Just wondering as my fam & I might try to go over the holidays (it will be insane, of course). It is a lot of $$$ to put out, so just wondered your take on it.

Will let you how we liked the Halloween party -- I'm not sure if I will be adventuresome enough to do a TR but I will be sure to let you know what we thought and post a few pics.

My son is starting Kindergarten too, a week after yours.

He was in Pre-K last year, but that was only part time. This whole day, 5 days a week is going to be hard

The food is great! There are very few places that we have eaten and swore to never go back. I am enjoying reading all the other PTR also! We can even get ideas from each other and most importantly...keep each other sane til the big day(s)!! I am definitely planning to read everyone's TR when I get back! I for sure want to see what each of us did! It'll fun to see the differences!! So, I'll be looking for all the TR's to start by Jan. 1 and no later!!!! LOL (Figured some need time with the holidays and end of the month trips!)

We are actually going to TRY for a few rope drops this time...no promises! We usually never to afternoon breaks, so with those, I think we can get out earlier??
I liked the MVMCP, but it was the most crowded I've ever seen the park and I just thought it was hard to catch the shows and a good seat for the parade. I am glad we went, but just don't know that I would do it again. Maybe if it were a bit cheaper? It's a lot for 5 hours and HUGE crowds. That's me personally. Many people seem to love it and go back multiple times. I thought P & P was great! There were people dressed up and everyone got into it! I am actually a big Halloween person and it had that sort of feel to it. Plus, there are several of us in our family that love PotC, so that helps! I was even just getting over some sort of flu-like virus the night that we went to that party and I still had a great time and would go back! Definitely let me know what you thought about the MNSSHP please! I'd love to see pix and a review! I really want to check that out!

I'm so happy to hear that you will let us know the park hours you find out if they tell them to you when you make your ADR's. I might just have to call too and see if I can get some park hours. I have to have them before I make my ADR's. It's just so hard to make them otherwise. *sigh*

girl my TR will be started as soon as all my pictures are processed. Which usually is the week after we get back from vacation so you won't have to wait long for my TR to start. If I waited until Jan 1 to start I think I would be mauled by my other DIS buds (right Sharky? )

On the MVMCP you went to, was it a weekend party? We went to MNSSHP in '07 on a Friday night and it was slammed!! So crowded it was nuts! We went to the party again last year and that time we went on a week night and it was SO much better! Very sparse crowd and much more laid back. I'm planning on going to MVMCP during the week (Dec. 8th) so I'm hoping for the same experience we had at our during the week MNSSHP last year.

My husband and I really enjoyed Boma dinner. My son is very picky, so he was not that into it.

However, my husband ran down to their food court, grabbed him a personal pizza and he ate that while we ate regular food. I give it two thumbs up
