This week seemed to be a waste for me! Off Monday, came to work Tuesday morning to find out we were closed:rolleyes:   .. Worked half day Wednesday ( got migrane) stayed in bed yesterday - and here it is - FRIDAY!!!! Yikes!

Happy Day all!;)

Went by quickly for me too- back to school on Monday!!

With terrible commutes due to the snow, I am glad that it is Friday. I've even been getting up early and coming in to try and beat the craziness. It works coming in (1/2 hour ride at 6:30 in the morning), but not a night (1 hour 15 minute ride home).

I am beat.

Thank goodness for the weekend!

I would like a week or 2 of Saturdays only :)

Annie&Hallie'sMom - that sounds like my commute!!!

i have been sitting in my house all week because of the snow... the last time i checked there were only 30 schools out of 120 that have been cleared.... i hope we go to school on monday!

Tony, I work off of exit 137 on the parkway. Getting here in the mornings has been no problem, but the GSP on the way home has been a nightmare. I usually get off at 145, but Rt 280 has been a nightmare (would you believe I saw a guy in stalled car in the middle of the area between where the toll plaza is and the ramp for 280 is and he was sitting there playing his clarinet!) and my Exit 8 is backed up for ages. I live 2.2 miles from the exit and it often takes me 1/2 an hour to get there due to traffic back up and lights! I'm wondering if Bloomfield Ave is any better, even with all the traffic lights and bus stops!

Yea for the weekend! But I have to study for a horendous test in History on Monday. :(

I hear that Bloomfield Ave is also a bit slow. But that's comming from Cedar Grove to Bloomfield, MIL takes that at night and it's mostly only one lane due to the snow. I go in the opposiite direction to Hackensack and hit the traffic on the way home. I was home yesterday and could see the parkway from my house, right near the essex tolls. The cars were not moving going North! It's normally like that going South. Maybe you should try Bloomfield Ave, It may be better.

Tony, I honestly don't think there is a better way.

I plan on leaving my office at 4 today. Think I'll take GSP to 280 (sigh) and go PAST my exit to the next one over. Maybe that will move better.

I need spring!

TGIF!!!!!

Had off on Monday for President's Day, pulled a muscle in my back digging the car out. Stayed home Tuesday and got a prescription for muscle relaxers. Went back to work Wednesday, it was a nightmare trying to walk around reading water meters(snow up to my knees in some areas), only got done half of what I usually do. It was a tiny bit easier on Thursday, but not much, I was able to finish the area I started on Wednesday except for the curb meters. I probably won't get to them until April, LOL!!!

Home for my morning break(reading meters in my area today), getting ready to head back out. Looking for some relief this weekend with some rain coming in to wash away more of this snow.

I hear we might get some more white stuff Monday night into Tuesday morning. YUK!!! Say iy AIN"T so!!!

Gotta Go!!!

Fridays = Uncle Tony doesn't shave. Therefore, let today be Monday.;)

Sorry about the migraine, Uncle T.:( I hope you're feeling better.

About 20 minutes after making the last post TGIF!!! I was walking around the block reading meters and took a terrible crash flat on my back. I slipped on some black ice , a co-worker came to my rescue and brought me home. I landed on the side, that I pulled a muscle in my back, while digging out my car the other day.

Thank goodness I didn't break anything, other than my pride, but, my back and neck are quite stiff however from the fall.

Come on SPRING!!! I've had enough of this winter weather already.

so you had a pretty nice week, huh? :teeth:

Verandah Man - I'm so sorry to hear that you fell and hurt your back even more! Be careful!

Oh yea, my week is going great , how's your's been???

Thanks Tony-NJ, just trying to find a position that I can either sit up in, or lay down in, without hurting!

HOORAY for Friday.......:bounce:
