:cool1::woohoo::banana::dance3:For years me, my mum and sister have always talked about a girly trip to dlp and today we finally booked it we are off on the 4th July 3 nights/4 days staying at the Cheyenne (as usual) and taking my dd. I'm soooo excited we are going by eurostar as we normally do but instead of catching it from St Pancras we are going to try Ebsfleet as it is nearer and easier to get to, i just thought i would share my excitement. im off now to jump around the room shouting im going to Disney, my poor neighbours lol:rotfl:

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: woo hoooooooo!!! thats great news!!! girly trips are great :) youre going to have such a good time!!!

Thanks i'm sure we will. it's going to be so strange going without my dh he he

Thanks, we have already started planning he he:cool1:

he he:dance3::woohoo: for girly trip. it's our first one without the dh's we will probably get so much more done not sure why but they walk really slow and us girls are usually the ones on up ahead because were too excited lol:rotfl:

its more fun without the Dhs sometimes! they only slow ya down and get fed up shopping.

he he so true:laughing: when i leave to go i will probably feel guilty and sad....... for all of 5 minutes then i will think i'm off to disney and go skipping out the door:rotfl2:

haha our last trip was a girly one and we were the same. dp was sulking a little bit and i was all '' i wish you were coming and i'll miss you'' until my friend collected me and we were jumping around with excitement!!! think he realised i was being disingenious :goodvibes

he he my dh has already started sulking i can see him using this against me for a while ie i went to have the last strawberry muffin and he said i should have it your going to disney (with his bottom lip dragging on the floor) mind you i would probably be the same ha ha :rotfl2:

haha my dp is more dreading having the kids for two days then holding a grudge at the minute!! bu there will be plenty of pouting i bet on the morning i go :cool1:

Thanks Sammie

dh has only got to look after ds he is only 18 months old, i'm taking dd with me she will be 4 and a 1/2 then she loves all the rides even tot, i don't do rollercoasters so the only one i will go on that she can't is crush so we will take it in turns to go on that one. when we went on thunder mountain last year we had to go on 9 times in a row she loved it she kept saying faster faster i think she is an adreniline junkie like her daddy lol. She has gone to school this morning telling everyone that she is going to dlp bless her.

aaah bless, she must be so excited :goodvibes

im leaving an almost 2 year old ds and a 5 year old dd behind... which i feel a wee bit of guilt about but eeerm i want a big girl trip ;) so we can do tot and btm and sm without a little lady having a meltdown...

me: no honest pet it isnt scary
dd: i hear big noises, if you make me i wont speak to you
chicken exit

ahhh bless her, i'm like that and i'm nearly 30 :rotfl::rotfl: my mum keeps trying to get me to go on sm but in all the years i have been going i just can't pluck up the courage to do it i keep saying i will then i chicken out but i bet if my dd was older and tall enough she would be straight on it.
im sure when you are on your way to disney and having fun with the girls you will be fine i promised i would bring dh and ds a few pressies back dh loves the star wars disney nodding figures, last year he got a stitch yoda he thinks there funny. bless him

lol dp said NO MORE TSHIRTS!!! he wont wear dlp tees here cause he thinks it wrecks his street cred!!!! :rotfl:

im going to get some bambi things for dd for her secret birthday trip but she wont get them until november. I'll buy them the obligitory tshirt, plush and poster! im not going to go mad in the shops this time... i swear :rolleyes1

youre staying in the cheyenne? we are too and cant wait!!

he he i know what you mean about the t shirts i got him a couple the ones where you see the body of the character and it looks like your head on the character (hope that makes sense) a mickey and a donald and he only wears them at disney.

I've told myself i'm not going to go mad with the spending this year too but i can't see that happening lol.

yeah we are staying in the Cheyenne (my dd calls it woody's house) we did think about the santa fe for the 2 double beds but we know the Cheyenne and thought as we are only there 3 nights it would be fine having the bunk bed. have you stayed in the Cheyenne before? We went to dlp last November for dd 4th birthday it was amazing so christmassy and magical :wizard:

aaah woodys house, thats so cute!! jem thought we were staying in santa's sleigh on our 1st trip!!

march will be my 1st trip staying at the cheyenne, our november trip is booked at the cheyenne too but i think we'll upgrade to sequoia lodge because dd loves bambi and theyre doing a bambi refurb at SL.

Im so excited about the christmas/birthday trip. looking at youtube's videos it looks so beautiful and magical and special :lovestruc any tips for a birthday trip?? dd will be on cloud 9 :cloud9:

 i may have bought dp a similiar tee!!! :rolleyes1

We love the Cheyenne it's such a great themed hotel we was worried that we would be cold in the winter as we had only ever been during the summer months we would go back to the room cold and wet but the rooms warmed up really quick and got very warm.

i got dd a sash to go accross her princess dresses that had in big pink letters saying ''Birthday Princess'' and a matching tiara she got loads of attention ( i got this from claire's accessories) We did the birthday cake at cafe Mickey which really made her birthday, seeing her face was worth every penny we ordered it here through disney direct we added it to our booking it was £22. we bought her a princess tiana dress from the disney store for £25 it's beautiful i noticed they were about 60 euro's at disney and we took it with us and gave it to her on her birthday, my mum also did a similar thing she got my dd some Jessie cow girl boots from the disney store and took them with her.

i did exactly the same looking on youtube at the Christmas stuff at disney..... i still do lol:rotfl: it makes you feel all tingly and happy:cloud9: I have done a TR from our november trip if you want to have a look although i have not got around to doing the last day (ooooops just remembered lol:rolleyes1)
You will love it there at Christmas and i'm sure your dd will too
