It's February so...Tornado watch???

Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole Counties.

totally wacko.....there were several tornadoes in the south today or yesterday........
that is so not February weather.....maybe it means an early spring....

It almost seems like the seasons are totally changing, they've had it particularly bad in august through october for a couple of years now, has anyone got any educated guesses on how its going to go this year?

Yep when we were there in 98 - Presidents week there was a major tornado went through just north of WDW. The parks were understaffed the next day coz CM's couldnt get in or theis houses had been damaged. Twister was due to open the following week and they delayed it in respect to the affected people. There were charity people sitting outside the entrance to the Twister ride asking for money donations.
I remember during the storm My DH and his Pal were on the balcony drinking their duty free whisky and they stuck their glasses out into the rain and their whisky was well diluted very quickly.
There are regularly storm and tornado warnings during our visits (this will be our 9th visit in 11 years) but they dont often come to much.

Ever since our March visit last year I have been saying how more unpredictable the weather is in February and March in particular.

You cannot guarante what the weather will be like this time of year.

Tornados???? Never knew Florida was affected by them. You learn something every day
