This afternoon I decided to return some clothes that I bought for DD that didn't fit... Bad idea!!!! Everybody is shopping like the world is going to end!!  The parking lots are a nightmare, the lines are huge, stores are packed..:crowded: :crowded: The only positive things were the sales and people were actually well behaved and even friendly.::yes::

I stopped at Burlington Coat Factory, they had 6 registers open and about 10+ people in each line. I encountered the same thing at Bed Bath and Beyond and Stein Mart.:earseek:

I'm not going out there again...:scared1: :scared1:

I was put earlier today and found the same thing. By the looks of all the people out there, I would say the economy is picking up!!

I returned some things to Target today. I lucked out and got a good parking space as someone was leaving. :teeth: Then inside, there were just 2 people ahead of me returning something. Unfortunately, they only took one of my items back, said they aren't selling the others any longer. :( And two pairs of pants I had already taken the tags off. What was I thinking???  So I found a pair of jeans, a sweater, and a shirt. Hopped in line with just one lady ahead of me almost done. Boy! Did I luck out!! :)

LOL, please, please don't take the tags off and don't lose your receipts. It makes things much, much simpler on everyone. :D

It is a little hectic out there, people are starting to feel the stress, both the customers and the sales associates. It doesn't help that people are sick too.

I'll be on the customer end this weekend, hopefully I'll finish. :hyper:

I could not even find a parking space at Barnes and Noble. Who knew?

I saw the mall and RAN. I did my years working retail. I know better!!! LOL!

We had to go to the Mall today and made sure we got there right after it opened so it wasn't too bad. :) Getting out of there was bad though.

We also had to go to Factory card Outlet, which is right by our Kohl's, and there was not a parking space any where. Same with Wal-Mart parking lot. Inside wasn't so bad. We just avoided Tiys and Electrocnics and we were ok. :)

We had really nice people wait on us. And we made sure to be extra nice to them. :)

We were at Best Buy by 10 AM - it wasn't bad. We were back there around 2 PM - and it was nuts in the parking lot! Then the mall parking lot looked like the weekend before Christmas! Glad I can finish during the week - wouldn't want to be out there next weekend!

Today we decided to go to the Palasadies (sp?) Park Mall in New York. (about an 1.5 hour drive for us.) What were we thinking???? It took about a half hour to find a parking spot.

We went back to Target last night because DS wanted something. Still wasn't too bad. Decent parking space again. ;) However, this morning I'm off to Sears to pick up DS's Christmas pictures...at the mall!
