This thread was started by me in August of 2013. Not sure what the confusion is. Free dining for 2013 dates had already been announced at that time and those of us who were looking for dining in November 2014 needed a place to group so we could wait together. This is the thread where we waited.

Some of us have to plan far ahead for vacations to be able to get everyone to have the same dates off of work, school, etc. And some need lots of time to save to be able to afford to go. Some of us just look forward to the planning when we can't go every year.

If POFQ is excluded, then no, they will not apply it to your stay. You would have to switch resorts. It is expected to go live tomorrow morning for Visa holders and next Wednesday for the public.

Damn I have 30 percent off pofq I guess we will be happy with that. If I can't make it disney will extend it to me for nov 2015

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this question, but, hoping somebody will be able to help me out. No DV for us, so we'll be trying to book next week with GP. By that time, will there be any chance of getting a POR AB room (family of 5) or should I just let go of that hope now?

Last year I was a little late on calling and POR was already booked for the free dining promotion. So, I booked CB instead. However.. Keep trying. I called back every few weeks to see if availability opened up AND it did. I was Anle to transfer my free dining reservation to POR. Have faith

Just like all of you I am "patiently" awaiting the news. Today I called chase and asked about promotions for the DV. The sweet lady was so excited and apparently gave me more info than she should have. She told me the dates, which match to the rumored dates, and also gave me a code. She told me to call Disney and ask to use it. When I called the poor CM was baffled by the fact that I had the actual code and had to place me on hold to find out what to do. Unfortunately he informed me that she leaked info that she shouldn't have and that I couldn't use it just yet. When I asked if I should call back tomorrow he was very adamant that it wouldn't be released tomorrow. He said it would be soon, but definitely not tomorrow. My thoughts are it has to be Friday then. Unfortunately this stinks for me as I will be on a flight to Disney at 7am Friday!

We've never done free dining. So let me get this straight, as long as one of the included dates is during ONE night of your stay you get free dining for the length of your stay

for example

Free dining dates are say

Oct 26 to Nov 1
Nov 9 to Nov 20

we check in Nov 1 and check out Nov 8th, we still would get free dining the length of our stay???


and what resorts are usually included?

I am loving all the info on this thread (I'm new to the message board world)! We're going nov 16-23 but waiting for the Visa Free dining offer to book. Will I get the free dining for all of my stay even though the rumored dates do not include my whole stay? Thanks!! Nervous and excited!!!

yes, that is correct about the dates! we checked in on the last day of the dec 2012 promo and had free dining our ENTIRE STAY!

Maybe. If I were you I'd call tomorrow anyway. Disney phone CMs are notorious for giving out incorrect information. It's so bad that sometimes I just say thank you, hang up, and call back hoping to get a better informed (or more competent) CM the next time. I've even had some give me flat out wrong information and sound extremely convincing. If I didn't know better I would have believed them. I'm not saying the one you spoke with was wrong, because we don't have any 100% confirmed information at this point as far as I'm aware. Still, chances are just as good that they were wrong as right.

That's such good news! Can you tell me what the code is? That way when I call, I can have them look that up. If I remember correctly its usually 3 letters. Might be helpful, especially if I get a CM that does not seem knowledgeable. thanks!

Hello all! I guess I'm joining this thread. We were originally going 11/30-12/8, but we've since had to move our dates for FD. I'm still not sure what dates we're going but I have another week to figure it out since I don't have a DV. We're looking at either 11/10-11/17 or 11/16-11/24.

I've already heard mumblings that it's been pushed back til tomorrow due to events for the Mine Train today.

It could be last minute jitters or it could be August 2013 part 2.
