"It's Coming and it's BLUE" - A July 2010 TR - COMPLETED!!

Wade as in, from Kim Possible Wade? Awesome name.

Hooray for your "first" drink at WDW!!! It's going to be awesome to wear that button on your ACTUAL birthday. Andrew got SO MANY wishes and we were just really overall very happy.

Birthday dinner at Ohana? Sounds PERFECT.

Wow, hope MK isn't suffocating on that day. Colonial Mickey sounds so cute! Can't wait to see pictures!

Kayaking, that sounds like fun! I used to love canoeing back in China, but over here, it's not as easy.

Your trip sounds like it's going to be amazing! :thumbsup2 So exciting you get to go on your birthday! Do you know what drink I LOVE at Disney (you can get it at any of the restaurants that serve alcohol)...the Godiva Chocolate Martini! OMG so good, if you like chocolate, of course!

Epcot on the 4th sounds awesome, I love American History too, so the patriotic stuff would be fun for me also! I love the Voices of Liberty, I have only seen them ONE time, and it's my mission to see them again in October! Colonial Mickey sounds so cute!

Oh, I hope you get to see the shuttle launch! We saw it in 09, we were at Sea World that day, and it was amazing! Another thing I'm a nerd about is space...always wanted to see a shuttle launch, so I'm glad I did before the program ended!

I wish I was on twitter, I would love to follow, but I'll definitely read your TR when you get back! :)

2 DAYS! You're leaving in 2 DAYS!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! :banana::yay::dance3::cheer2:

I am so so so SOO excited for you! And these plans sound fantastic - I have a feeling this is gonna be a great TR! Can't wait!! :)

Aw, your trip is gonna be here so soon! That's so exciting! And, frankly, majorly upsetting for me because that means I'll be back from my own trip soon. :sad2: Do you think your family would mind adopting me for the week?

I'm sure they would love to. :goodvibes You can just hang out at CSR until I get there. Just claim a hammock and set up camp. :p With an occasional stop at the Pepper Market so you don't starve and all.

P.S. Your trip plans sound fantastic!! I am eating at all of those places this summer! You're going to love the Dining Plan! I always always use it!

I can't wait to hear about Wade! Ooh la la Katie!

You should have a lapu lapu for your 21st!!! That is SOO going to be my first alcoholic drink in Disney! :thumbsup2

2 days!!!!!!!! party:

You should have a lapu lapu for your 21st!!! That is SOO going to be my first alcoholic drink in Disney! :thumbsup2

Yeah you should! Kristen and I already decided we're both going down for our 21st birthdays to get lapu lapus... just because they're drinks served in PINEAPPLES. how fantastic.

Yeah you should! Kristen and I already decided we're both going down for our 21st birthdays to get lapu lapus... just because they're drinks served in PINEAPPLES. how fantastic.

YEAH we are! :thumbsup2 It's a beautiful thing really. I mean if I'm gonna drink alcoholic something, it might as well be served in FOOD. :worship:

Your upcoming trip sounds amazing! Ahhh I can't believe you are leaving so soon! :yay:

Great timing on your trip report. One ends and now it's time to go again. :thumbsup2 I really enjoyed reading all about the Poly. Have fun and :bday:. I look forward to reading all about this trip and just how special it must be to turn "21" at Disney.

Ohmygosh, you leave TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay: I am beyond excited for you and to think you'll be spending your 21st AT DISNEY!!! I hope you and your family have an amazing time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for the TR! :goodvibes

Ahhhh! Have so much fun girl! And happy early birthday!! Have an early birthday drink for me since mine is the 10th!

KDJSFHSDSHCVjXCHVBsJHB!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE DAY LEFT!!!!!!!!!!! I'M DYING!!!! AAAAAAAND IT'S NOT EVEN MY TRIP!!!! I'M SOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!! I genuinely am. This is why the internet is weird. It's like, we know each other, but not really, and I'm all SQUEE over YOUR trip.

VERY SOON, this will be you, except on Main Street of course:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm also very excited for your ADRs. LOL. T-Rex looks sooo freaking cool. I LOVE the Rainforest Cafe, so I know I would love it. Are you going to request a certain room? Cause a lot of people do that. I think the preferred area of many is the ice age room cause it changes color.

Crystal Palace is one of my favorite places but we've never had dinner there so I'm excited to hear how you like it, I've heard it's really good at dinner.

AND LES CHEFS!!!!!!!!SDFSDKJSLDJ!! You know how much I love that blessed place. Returning to Les Chefs is one of the things I am MOST excited about for our trip. You are going to love it too.

Your first Lapu Lapu is waiting for you at 'Ohana!!!! God I can't wait to finally try 'Ohana in October!!!

I haven't been to Cape May Cafe but it is sooo pretty inside and I know you haven't been to the Beach Club before...you are gonna die, it's amazing. I know I already told you that you guys should try and go for dessert at Beaches & Cream, but if you have time, be sure to walk around the BC/YC/BW/S&D area because it is SO GORGEOUS and one of Disney's best kept secrets because no one outside of the DIS ever knows what the eff I'm talking about when I bring it up.

Have you ever been to Whispering Canyon Cafe before? I'm sure you know about all the bells and whistles at that place but once you're actually there it's a whole new ball game. We had breakfast there and I LOVED it but at the same time I kept being nervous that our waitress was going to speed by me galloping on a toy horse. LOL. It's so fun though.

I'm the same way about my birthday! I actually had an incredible one this year for once, 21 was amazing, but usually I hate it and before my 21st hadn't had a good once since I turned 16, guess why? We were at WDW. We're too young to think like this but I'm always like I'M OLD :sad1: Anyway, just forget about all the BS and paaaaaaarty!!!!!! You're 21! And someday you'll REALLY be old and be like "UGH I wish I was 21." So just let it go for a bit, like I did, and have fun. I know it sucks that the 90's are over but they live on in our hearts!!

Good call on not being at the MK on the 4th. It always sells out, and that sounds like such a nightmare. Hopefully, less people will be at Epcot.

I didn't know this was the LAST space shuttle mission. My knowledge of space related things involves what they tell you at Epcot and what is featured in the movie Armageddon, and not much else. Why are they never doing it again? That's really cool though.

Where are you going to go to rent a kayak?

WELL I guess that's enough of my rambling!! For now... ahh I can't wait to get your twitter updates and live vicariously!

Oh and P.S. Don't even get me started on my TVD withdrawals. I'm going to have to find an annoying whiny psychotic raven haired guy with a killer six pack to hang out with until September or else I can't go on.

HI GUYS! So, the good news is that in less than 24 hours, we'll be on the road! :cool1: The bad news is that my sinuses started acting up last night. I have a sore throat, a runny nose, and my ears are kinda bothering me. It's obviously not enough to completely ruin the trip, but that, combined with my usual pre-trip anxiety, has left me in one giant ball of excitement/anxiety/snot. I'm just hoping that I'm back to 100% by Sunday since that's our first park day. I'd hate to have to blow my nose in the middle of Splash Mountain. :rotfl:

Kara! The upcoming trip sounds amazing! From the 4th of July to the first official (legal) alcoholic beverage...it should be an amazing time! May I recommend Epcot on the 4th? We were there last year and the fireworks were AMAZING! Plus, there was PM EMH and we just strolled around WS while they were playing all this patriotic music...it was incredible! And very cool about the shuttle launch! Our trip once almost coincided with a launch but it kept getting pushed back.
We are actually going to be at Epcot on the 4th. I went back and edited my post since I didn't really make that clear. I've heard that the Epcot fireworks are quite impressive, so I'm really excited to see them.
Wade as in, from Kim Possible Wade? Awesome name.

Yep, Wade as in Kim Possible Wade. :thumbsup2

Yeah, they gave me a birthday button a few trips ago when we went the week after my actual birthday. So many people stopped and said "Happy Birthday!" to me. It was really sweet.

I've only been kayaking once, but it was a lot of fun. I think Disney kayaking is less intense than real kayaking. I mean, the bodies of water in WDW aren't all that active, y'know?
Your trip sounds like it's going to be amazing! :thumbsup2 So exciting you get to go on your birthday! Do you know what drink I LOVE at Disney (you can get it at any of the restaurants that serve alcohol)...the Godiva Chocolate Martini! OMG so good, if you like chocolate, of course!

Oooo the Godiva Chocolate Martini sounds fab. I may just have to try one of those.

I really hope we get to see the shuttle launch too. I mean, I've gone to Florida every year since I was born, but I've never seen a launch, so it's about time. LOL.
Awesome PTR!!! Have a safe and majical trip.:thumbsup2
THANKS!!! :goodvibes
Have a fantastic trip & great birthday! I'm going to follow you on twitter now :)
THANK YOU!!
2 DAYS! You're leaving in 2 DAYS!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! :banana::yay::dance3::cheer2:

I am so so so SOO excited for you! And these plans sound fantastic - I have a feeling this is gonna be a great TR! Can't wait!! :)
Thanks, Jess! I have a feeling this is gonna be a great trip/TR too.

You should have a lapu lapu for your 21st!!! That is SOO going to be my first alcoholic drink in Disney! :thumbsup2

2 days!!!!!!!! party:
See, this will work out perfectly. Maybe they'd even hire me for a few days. I could just stand at the door and be like "WELCOME to Coronado Springs!"

Great food-obsessed minds think alike. LOL. :thumbsup2
Yeah you should! Kristen and I already decided we're both going down for our 21st birthdays to get lapu lapus... just because they're drinks served in PINEAPPLES. how fantastic.
Exactly. I wanna drink from a pineapple!
YEAH we are! :thumbsup2 It's a beautiful thing really. I mean if I'm gonna drink alcoholic something, it might as well be served in FOOD. :worship:
I never even thought of it that way before. Food/drink served in other food is hard to turn down.
Your upcoming trip sounds amazing! Ahhh I can't believe you are leaving so soon! :yay:
I know. I still have so much to do tonight. I'm going to be running around like a (sick) chicken with my head cut off.
Great timing on your trip report. One ends and now it's time to go again. :thumbsup2 I really enjoyed reading all about the Poly. Have fun and :bday:. I look forward to reading all about this trip and just how special it must be to turn "21" at Disney.

Thank you so much, girl!
Ahhhh! Have so much fun girl! And happy early birthday!! Have an early birthday drink for me since mine is the 10th!
Thanks, Tink! I definitely will. Happy Early-Birthday to you! :wizard:

The internet is funny like that. :thumbsup2

ROTCOMS! :rotfl::rotfl:

OMG. I'm so excited for T-Rex. People seem to have mixed opinions on the food, but I don't really care about that. I'm just excited to see the dinos! I didn't know we could request a particular room. Would I just ask when I check us in? The ice cave does look quite cool. I also like the underwater room with the giant octopus.

We've eaten at Whispering Canyon once before, but we were seated in what we dubbed "the annex" so we weren't really a part of the action. The food was delish, but we were disappointed by that. I'm hoping we'll have better luck this year.

We're too young to think like this but I'm always like I'M OLD

Oh, gosh. Me too. Every single year I'm like WHEN DID I GET SO OOOOOOLLLLLDDDDD??? It's depressing. Don't people say that their 20s are some of the best? I need to start thinking that way.

Yeah, I mean, I'm used to crowds, but not CLOSED TO CAPACITY crowds. I don't think I could handle that.

I guess they've just decided that the space shuttles aren't worth it financially. My dad was explaining it to me the other day after I asked the same question. It costs them way too much to fix the shuttles after each flight so they're dumping the shuttles and starting anew. Or something like that. :confused3

At Coronado Springs, I guess. My mom said she saw a picture of people kayaking in the lake at CSR on the WDW website and now she's all gung ho about kayaking. I'm just going with it.

Well, I hope you find your very own faux!Damon. If he just so happens to have a vegetarian brother with amazing abs who has recently gone off the deep end, tell him to call me. ;)

That was a GREAT trip report!! You are tooo funny; I can't wait until your next TR (you are doing one right?!). Have sooo much in Disney! Enjoy every second, but that goes without saying! I hope it goes as slowly for you as the wait to my trip is going currently  Again, great TR! :goodvibes

LOL I know I don't care about the food either. I mean, I loooove good food but dude, there's dinosaurs there. And yes, you just ask when you check-in up front. :) Oh and for the record, the pictures on the Disney Food Porn thread are always AMAZING, everything looks sooo good.

Maybe you should request a certain location at WCC too, just to ensure you're in the middle of the craziness! Oh and I'm sure you've heard this before but make sure you ask for ketchup. :thumbsup2

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh ok I just read your tweet to me. you're right. YOU ARE LEAVING TODAY. WHAT the WHAT!?!!?!??! :wizard::wizard::wizard:

HELLO FRIENDS!!!

We're leaving in like an hour and a half, but I thought I'd stop by while attempting to eat breakfast (I'm too excited to eat!) to say one last goodbye.

I've had an absolute blast sharing my vacation with you and getting to live vicariously through all of yours. Thank god for the DIS. I'm so glad I've found this wonderful community of Disney-lovin' folk to celebrate with, to reminisce with, and, most importantly, to have fun with. My "real-life" friends start to roll their eyes at any mention of Disney, so, frankly, I don't know what I'd do without y'all. I'd probably end up sitting in my room and talking to myself which would probably lead my parents to have me committed. :rotfl:

Anyway, this is probably making no sense because I'm absolutely delirious with excitement, but thanks everyone! You rock! Knowing that I can come back and relive my trip with you guys will make the sting of leaving WDW a little less sting-y, so thank goodness for that. :thumbsup2

I LOVE YOU ALL AND I'LL "SEE" YOU IN A COUPLE WEEKS!!!!!

:grouphug:

YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY TODAY!! in probably like half an hour. OH MY GOODNESS let the memories begin :wizard: haha cleverr.

you're going to have an amazing time and I can not wait to hear all about this trip! it's going to be so much FUN! oh my gosh yayy I can't believe you're going. i'm so excited for you!

have fun, take pictures, eat food, soak in all the magic, and have a great time!!
