"It's Coming and it's BLUE" - A July 2010 TR - COMPLETED!!

I am soooo psyched about the Rocky Horror Glee episode! That soundtrack was on repeat for a good 2 years during my college years. I even dressed at Dr. Frankenfurter one Halloween! And my sister was Magenta! (We also went as Patsy and Eddie from AbFab one year! We were awesome back then!) I'll have to see if I can find a pic...

Did you ever explain the title to your TR? Can we guess what it means? I'll go first! :rotfl: I think you and your family were waiting around for the monorail and made a bet to see who could guess which monorail was coming. YOU guessed blue and as you saw the monorail pull up, you shouted "I'm coming and it's BLUE!" And then you may have added a celebratory "In your FACE!"

Do I win?

Do you remember when Britney was on Sabrina?

AHHHHHH! THAT IS AWESOME.

Omigod, everything about this is so '90s. I am dying.
Me too. I'm such a 90s kid. Like, it's not even funny. I NEED VH1 to make a new version of I Love the 90s and ask me to do commentary on it. Make it like a 90s kid version since the original didn't really focus on the stuff kids liked about the 90s. So if you're reading this VH1 (because they TOTALLY are ;)), you can use my idea. :thumbsup2

OH MY GOSH. THAT'S AWESOME!! I really hope you find a pic!!

 I was just gonna wait to explain my TR title until we got to that part of the report, but I will say that you're very very close. Very close. Except it wasn't me who said it. ;)

DAY -1 AND DAY 0: GETTING THERE

People always say that “Getting there is half the fun”. And sure, I guess that can be true. But more often than not, “getting there” is nowhere near “half the fun”. I mean, when your destination is something horrible, like the final exam for a class you can’t understand, “getting there” is ALL of the fun. But when Walt Disney World is your destination, I wouldn’t exactly say that “getting there” is half the fun. More like 1/80th of the fun. Or maybe 1/75th if you have a particularly enjoyable drive/flight. But “half the fun”? Nope, not even close.

WEDNESDAY JULY 21st:
[For the sake of being thorough, I’m starting this report with the night before we left. I’ve gotta include that “OMG WE’RE LEAVING TOMORROW!!!” excitement/stress, right?]

For me at least, Wednesday was UNBEARABLE. All I wanted to do was get in the car and start driving, but it seemed like time was moving at a ridiculously slow pace. I kept looking at the clock (which is never a good idea), and every single time it felt like time was barely moving. I mean, really, for how long can it be 5:00? Because it sure felt like an eternity.

Those of you who read my pre-trip report or followed along on twitter know that I am a notoriously late packer. Packing is the worst, and I tend to put it off for as long as possible. I really don’t know how you people who pack weeks in advance do it. I can’t even pack a day in advance. I’ll try, but I end up getting distracted by something else. I guess I just don’t see the point in packing that early when I still have so much time before I leave. [Sidenote: For me, “so much time” has included anything more than one hour. Yes, there was a time when I didn’t finish packing until an hour before we left. Are you going to kick me off the DISboards now?]

So anyway, I literally spent all day Wednesday “packing”. I started bright and early around 10 (yes, that’s early for me) and got like 2 shirts out. Then, I got distracted and did something else. And then around noon, I was like “Oh, I should totally get to packing” so I got a dress out of my closet and then got distracted again because “Single Ladies” came on the radio and I HAD to dance. I mean, it's "Single Ladies"...I just couldn't help myself. At one point I was debating whether or not to pack a pair of heels, and I ended up rearranging all of the shoes in my closet. So basically, no packing was accomplished while it was still light outside. But I did rearrange my shoes so um… not a complete waste of a day.

I told myself that I ABSOLUTELY MUST PACK right after we finished dinner, but (I’m sure you can see where this is going) it turns out that Grease was on ABC Family and how could I pack while one of my favorite movies was on? So I did the Hand Jive with the students of Rydell High, only taking a break to quickly post a goodbye message on my PTR before I forgot, and I think by the time the movie ended, it was like 11:00. So that meant time to get to pack-…er…taking a shower.

I don’t know about you guys, but for me the last shower at home is kind of a big deal. It’s one final GLORIOUS high water pressure shower before I head off into a land of sucky water pressure. Plus, the water in Florida just feels harder than the water here. Instead of receiving a nice, watery head massage, I feel like I’m being pelted with little pieces of plastic. And nobody wants that. It’s no fun. :sad2:

So I took a very loooong shower, savoring every second, painted my nails my favorite color- OPI’s Paint My Moji-toes Red, and dried my hair, leaving only one thing left for me to do…

Watch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon! I was a bit ambivalent on Jimmy at first, but lately his show has been hysterical. Or maybe I’ve just lowered my funny standards. And because it was my lucky day, Jimmy sang my favorite thing ever- his Oil Spill protest song- and I laughed and sang along.

And then, FINALLY, I got down to packing. We were supposed to leave at 3:30 AM, so I had a two hour cushion, but I really didn’t need it. Once I actually got serious about it, I packed in like half an hour. And I took this picture…
DSCN2934.jpg

Nice sandals, a pair of heels, and Crocs. I’m pretty sure WDW is the only destination in the world where packing all three of these pairs of shoes is completely normal. [Sidenote: I didn’t even have to wear my Crocs this year! I bought them a few years ago because my feet/ankles were absolutely killing me, but apparently my weird foot issues are resolved. I attribute that to 2 years of hiking to class at Ohio State. Seriously, we have a GIANT campus. And I’m pretty sure that after walking to class every day, I can handle anything.]

After packing, I still had an hour and a half to kill. I wasn’t planning on sleeping at all until we got in the car, so I parked myself in front of my favorite thing, the TV, and flipped. After watching parts of several infomercials, I found vintage episodes of Jon and Kate Plus 8 on Discovery Health. SCORE!! Those Gosselin kids are just too cute! Kate, I totally volunteer to be a nanny for your children! That way you’ll have plenty of time to do what you do best - not be around your kids.

Around 3:00, things started to go downhill. My mouth/jaw was absolutely killing me. Because I’m the luckiest girl in the world, my wisdom teeth decided to start making an appearance in the days before we left. Or at least I’m pretty sure it’s my wisdom teeth. I mean, I can feel a tooth poking through my gum. So anyway, I’m in a ton of pain and I start freaking out. My parents were packing the car at the time and I’m pretty sure I yelled out, “JUST STOP PACKING! I DON’T WANNA GO ANYMORE! I CAN’T! I’M MISERABLE!” at one point. It was not pretty.

And I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m prone to anxiety attacks. Like, big deal anxiety attacks where my chest hurts and I feel like I can’t breathe. So that started happening. At this point, in my mind, I absolutely cannot see myself getting in the car. I just can’t. I was sucking on ice with my face in a pillow. And all I was thinking about was how could I walk around WDW like that? I couldn’t.

But thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster, around 3:30 I was able to start calming myself down. Sure, my jaw hurt like hell, but I NEEDED WDW and I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from getting there. So at…
DSCN2936.jpg

(That says 3:51 in case you can’t read it) we locked up the house and headed out to the car for our 16 hour RIDE O FUN.

Here’s a picture of Katie in the car.
DSCN2937.jpg

And here’s a picture of me.
DSCN2938.jpg

At this point, I still had my face buried in my pillow. My jaw was so stiff. It was terribly uncomfortable. But I had Mickey Mouse's voice running through the back of my mind constantly repeating "WDW. YOU WILL BE THERE SOON. WDW. YOU WILL BE THERE SOON." And I tried to stay positive.

So anyway, we waved goodbye to our house and WE WERE OFF!! :drive:

THURSDAY JULY 22nd:
[Technically, it changed over to Thursday earlier in the report, but there wasn’t really a good point to make this designation. So I’m doing it now. Like I said before, this is my TR, I can do what I want. :upsidedow]

It took me about an hour to fall asleep, but once I did, I slept through most of Ohio, West Virginia, and Virginia. It wasn’t a constant sleep, but rather more of a “sleep for an hour and then wake up for 15 minutes” kind of thing.

Through North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia it was more of the on and off kind of sleeping, except it was more like be awake for 40 minutes and then sleep for 20. I passed my “awake time” by listening to the Broadway XM Radio station and counting down the mile-markers. It’s a (very little) fun way to pass the time.

I didn’t take any pictures during the ride down, but here are some pictures of the *exciting vistas* I took during the ride home.
DSCN4142.jpg

There were A LOT of trees. More trees than anyone really ever needs to see.

DSCN4143.jpg

There's a thrilling sign giving trucks instructions on how to safely drive down whatever highway we were driving on.

DSCN4144.jpg

Oh, and there’s actually a truck in this picture. I hope he was obeying the rules that the other sign laid out. Wouldn’t want him to have to use those crazy runaway truck ramps in the mountains of (West) Virginia.

At a rest stop in Georgia, my dad found a brochure filled with these AWESOME paranormal ghost tours of Savannah. I totally want to go back sometime and take one. My friend and I are kind of obsessed with those ghost hunting shows, so I texted her and we both freaked out at the fact that they give you your very own EMF detector to use during the tour! THAT IS SO COOL. We are so lame.

Once we got to Jacksonville (woohoo for being in FLORIDA) we stopped for dinner at an Applebees and it took forever. There weren’t even that many people in the restaurant, so I don’t quite understand why it took as long as it did, but whatever. We’re on vacation. Who really cares when we get to Orlando anyway?

When we got back on the road, we plugged my ipod into the stereo and jammed out to some Glee tunes. Singing Somebody to Love and Don’t Stop Believin’ when you’re less than 2 hours away from WDW is quite exciting. Actually, just being 2 hours away from WDW is exciting in itself. I don’t know how the people who live in Florida do it. If I knew that WDW was THAT close, someone would need to physically restrain me from getting in the car and driving there every morning. I have a hard enough time as it is, and I'm 16 hours away!!

Around 9, we hit the Orlando metropolitan area, and turned on some Disney music. Katie and I sang along to everyone’s favorite Disney song for singing along to, “I’ll Make a Man Out of You”.

I tried taking pics of downtown Orlando, but this is what I got. Taking pictures from a moving car is hard.
DSCN2940.jpg

This picture obviously doesn’t show it, but the city looked really pretty at night. We usually arrive in Orlando during the day, so this was the first of many new experiences for us. But whether it is day or night, one thing I’m always impressed by is just how many hotels there are in Orlando. I wonder how many hotel rooms there are. It’s gotta be a GIANT number.

Before long we reached the Courtyard Mariott just outside Disney property where we’d be spending the night. I was excited because our room keys were Summer Nighttastic themed.
DSCN2945.jpg

I think I stared at them for 20 minutes thinking “Oh, Disney, I AM ALMOST THERE!!!”

I didn’t take any pictures of the room, but it was really nice. The lamps were shaped like pineapples which thrilled me far more than it should have. Obviously it wasn’t a Disney hotel, but we only needed a place to sleep for the night and it worked fine. My mom and sister did a little exploring, and I guess the place had, like, 3 pools. There were tons of people staying there, so if you’re looking for a place to stay off Disney property, look into a Courtyard Mariott.

OH!! I absolutely have to mention this! Guess who appeared when we turned the TV on….

STACY!!!!! :worship:

Stacy is a goddess and I missed her so much. There really is nothing better than watching her gallivant around WDW and deliver such classic lines as “LOOK AT THOSE CHOMPERS!!!” and the infamous “TEST TRACK BABY!!!” Oh, and the fact that she always says something along the lines of it being time to “ride that puppy”. I don’t usually call things that aren’t baby dogs puppies, but when I’m at WDW EVERYTHING becomes a puppy in honor of my girl. I don’t just say, “Oh, I am going to eat this Mickey Rice Crispy Treat.” It’s more of an “I AM GOING TO DEVOUR THIS PUPPY!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”

Seriously, Stacy, if you’re out there, will you be my best friend? We can stare at all of the “yummy” gelato guys in Italy together.

Anyway, I think I went to bed around 11. It took me a little bit to fall asleep because hotels/motels/whatever you want to call it make me feel weird. Like, sleeping in their beds makes me feel itchy. And it’s not like there’s bed bugs, because it literally happens everywhere we go. Except for Disney. I don’t know why, but I’m always really comfortable at Disney. Probably because I’ve been there so many times that it feels like home.

Well, that’s all for now. I'm sorry that this update is SOOO LONG and kinda dull. But because I decided to cram all of the boring driving to WDW stuff into one update, we can just jump right into the good stuff with the next update!! So stay tuned!! And also, "Speak softly and carry a big stick." I don't know why I'm including that, but it seems like good advice. :thumbsup2

Excellent start to the trip....well, except for the jaw pain and panic attack...uh, I think what I actually mean is, excellent post about the start to your trip! You are going to make a FANTASTIC journalist one day! You really are a great writer. I get bored reading so quickly but you've kept me entertained...

I have sooo many fond memories of the 16 hour drives to WDW with my parents and sister. Hope you are feeling better for the rest of your trip.

That's awesome that you stopped packing to dance to Single Ladies :cool1::thumbsup2

Love the pink crocs!

Sorry about your jaw hurting that is no way to start a Disney vacation :guilty:

The paranormal ghost tour sounds awesome!!! You definitely need to do it sometime!

Can't wait until you get to Disney!

Great start!

Girl, I don't fault you for stopping to dance to Single Ladies. That song is awesome! Have you seen Heather Morris (Brittany from glee) dance to it? I you tubed her dances the other day and she is a phenomenal dancer.

Love your AE flip flops ;)

I would love to go on a ghost tour. My aunt & uncle live in North Carolina and they do paranormal investigating on the side. They were provided all the fancy equipment and everything. If I go down to visit them for the holidays I'm definitely tagging along, it sounds really interesting!

Can't wait for your next update!

Oh man, jaw pain. I hear you, girl. Right now I'm having some intense pain because I lost my retainer that keeps me from grinding my teeth at night, thus screwing my jaw up. Why, life. Why.

I was wincing through the whole panic attack part because I know exactly how you feel. I have some pretty intense anxiety issues sometimes, but having one before a Disney trip would be horrible. You poor thing.

Dude, my best friend and I burst out into I'll Make a Man Out Of You ALL THE TIME. It's not pretty, normal singing either - more like SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF OUR LUNGS BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE POWER OF DANNY OSMOND.

Your first update wasn't dull!!! I like hearing about people packing and being excited to leave and everything! :cool1:

I love your pink Mickey crocs, I had a pair just like that, but they were opposite colors-the crocs were whitish/gray and the strap was pink, but they were huge on me, so I gave them to a co-worker. I was so upset that I couldn't fit in Mickey crocs. :sad1: I'm going to try to get a pair of the crocband ones they are selling down there now. :cool1:

Anyway, enough about crocs! :rolleyes1 So sorry about the jaw pain, trust me, I know all about wisdom tooth drama, it can RUIN anything, even WDW anticipation! :)

I'm glad you got to see Stacy, a WDW vacation doesn't start until Stacy in on your tv, I'm glad they play that in the non-Disney resorts too! She annoys me, but I watch her all the time, so there must be something I like about her! :confused3 She's just a part of WDW I guess!

Can't wait to read more!!!

YAY!! IT HAS BEGUN!

I agree that Grease is distracting. Oh, Danny Zuko. Hubba Hubba.

I LOVE Jimmy Fallon. Always have. Didn't know how he'd do as a host but I think he's great at it now. I love how many celebrities he personally knows from SNL and stuff, because the interviews are so cool, just like two friends talking.

I love your pink crocs!!

OMG Jon & Kate Plus 8 used to be so good. Not feelin' the hate on Kate though. I love that woman, omg. DO WE FINALLY HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION ON SOMETHING?!? LOL. Usually I feel like everything you say i'm like OMG ME TOO!! hahahaha

I'm sorry that you have anxiety attacks girl :( I can't believe it got so bad that you said you didn't want to go! That's terrible. But I'm really happy you got it sorted out and I'm sure once you got to WDW all was forgotten. At least, I hope! Stupid stiff jaw :(

Can I ask why you chose to drive? Cheaper or do you just like road trips? I love road trips, but I haven't driven to Disney (or anywhere further than 10 hours) since 2004. I think I'm too impatient now, like, if I have a week off, I want all those days to be had AT Disney, I don't want any to just be travel days. Someday though, i've got to calm down and enjoy the ride!

Omg. Ghost hunting shows. DO YOU WATCH PARANORMAL STATE????????? I aaaaaammmm iiiiiinnnn llllllllloooooovvvvveeeee with Ryan Buell. I can't even.

I LOVE APPLEBEES. You know what, I don't even care that people say it is trashy or WHATEVER. When I want to be at a 5 star restaurant, I will be, but sometimes I just want boneless buffalo chicken and some quesadillas. People in Manhattan are so stuck up about that kind of thing and it annoys me.

SOMEBODY TO LOVE IS MY FAVORITE GLEE COVER. The original has been one of my favorite songs for ages, but Lea Michele sings it SO PERFECTLY, as she does with everything, but oh my god. They all sing it perfectly. I JUST GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS PRISON CELL / SOMEDAY I'M GONNA BE FREE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD!!!!!!!! Sigh. Omg.

I agree about not knowing how the eff people who live in Florida get anything done knowing Disney is just a few hours or way less away from them. I could not do anything. I would not be motivated to even have a life. I would want to spend my days with the Mouse and that would be it. Pure happiness until the day I die sounds pretty good to me.

HOW AWESOME ABOUT THE SUMMER NIGHTASTIC KEYS. I would have screamed. And it wasn't even a Disney resort! That is too awesome.

You already know about how much I love and adore Stacy and how I would marry her tomorrow if she proposed, so I won't get into it. But I LOVE how Disney-fied this Non-Disney hotel was!

This update was nowhere near long enough and it was not dull at all either!! Obviously, I can't get enough of you and your TR. Typical!!! Can't wait for more! ;D

Hey girl! I am SO here. Now I need to catch up! popcorn::

I hope to see myself or Kristen in the background of some of your pics.

I only read your intro, but I'm going back to read your PTR now... Sounds like an awesome trip ! popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

Love the update! Can't wait for the poly check in! My friend goes to Savannah College of Art and Design, and we've talked about doing those ghost tours also!!

I love your writing style...I'm entertained and will be in for the long haul :goodvibes I am glad you included the night/day that you left, I get so freaking excited just reading it!!!:cool1:

I am a Floridian, about 3-4 hrs drive from the most magical place on Earth, and would love to go there all the time, but I don't. I really like staying deluxe and eating at signature restaurants, etc so the trips are still pricey even though I am so close ;) I know alot of Floridians who go on multiple weekend trips through out the year and stay at the value resorts (or even off-site ) but thats just not for me.

Singing Somebody to Love and Don’t Stop Believin’ when you’re less than 2 hours away from WDW is quite exciting.

For us, the latter is a "You are now exiting Polk County, Fla. and are 25 minutes from the highway exit" tradition. Journey version, tho.

OH MY GOODNESS. SO MANY READERS. THANKS EVERYBODY!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!

Excellent start to the trip....well, except for the jaw pain and panic attack...uh, I think what I actually mean is, excellent post about the start to your trip! Aww thank you so much, Nikki! That means a lot. And I'm glad I could keep you entertained. I promise there will be more pictures in future updates to balance out my wordiness. :goodvibes

 I will stop anything to dance to "Single Ladies". It's my guilty pleasure dance song. Like, I should totally be tired of it by now, but nope. I will love it FOREVER.

Whenever I finally get to do the ghost tour, I will totally come here and let you guys know how it was.
Great start!

Girl, I don't fault you for stopping to dance to Single Ladies. That song is awesome! Have you seen Heather Morris (Brittany from glee) dance to it? I you tubed her dances the other day and she is a phenomenal dancer.

I ADORE HEATHER MORRIS. She is amazing. I always wind up focusing on her during the group numbers because she's just so good. Gah I want to be her. Why did I have to stop dancing seriously in 10th grade? I don't normally have regrets, but I think that will always be my biggest regret in life. Whenever I watch other people dance professionally, I'm so jealous.

HAHA Thanks!! I think, like, 75% of my wardrobe is American Eagle.

OMG. THAT'S SO COOL ABOUT YOUR AUNT AND UNCLE!! I wanna do some legitimate paranormal investigating!
Oh man, jaw pain. I hear you, girl. Right now I'm having some intense pain because I lost my retainer that keeps me from grinding my teeth at night, thus screwing my jaw up. Why, life. Why.

I'm sorry about the lost retainer. And I know what you mean about the teeth grinding pain...I do that too when I'm stressed out. It's no fun.

Yeah, the anxiety attack was no fun. I was super bummed right afterwards too because it's like, I'm leaving for Disney right now. I'm supposed to be bouncing off the walls with excitement, not curled up in a ball having an anxiety attack. Blegh. But thankfully the rest of the trip went smoothly.

Oh yeah, you have to really go for it when singing along to "I'll Make a Man Out of You". I mean, singing it any other way just doesn't have the same impact.
Your first update wasn't dull!!! I like hearing about people packing and being excited to leave and everything! :cool1:

Aw I'm sorry that you couldn't fit in your Mickey crocs. I understand your pain though because I have weird shaped feet. They're really long and narrow and I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit without rubbing weirdly and giving me blisters.

Stacy is a MAJOR part of WDW. My parents hate her, but even they quote her randomly. There's just something so compelling about her.
Yikes about the jaw pain. I hope that stopped soon.

I'm also a late packer.
Yeah, I didn't have any major jaw issues during the trip, thank goodness, but as soon as we got home it started to bother me again. Maybe being in Ohio causes jaw pain. :rotfl:
Hey girl! I am SO here. Now I need to catch up! popcorn::

I hope to see myself or Kristen in the background of some of your pics.
TINKGURL!!

OMG. If that happens, I will die. Like seriously. It would be amazing.
I only read your intro, but I'm going back to read your PTR now... Sounds like an awesome trip ! popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::
THANKS FOR READING!! And I hope you enjoy my PTR. It was kinda lame, but whatever. Haha
Love the update! Can't wait for the poly check in! My friend goes to Savannah College of Art and Design, and we've talked about doing those ghost tours also!!
They seem so cool!! There are actually quite a few haunted places in Ohio that you can tour, but none of them give you your own EMF detector to use. So when I saw that, I flipped. I can live out my ghost hunting fantasies!!
I love your writing style...I'm entertained and will be in for the long haul :goodvibes I am glad you included the night/day that you left, I get so freaking excited just reading it!!!:cool1:

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And as a fellow deluxe snob, I can totally understand why you'd spread out your trips instead of doing the quick, cheap-ish weekend trips.
Found your TR this morning:thumbsup2 Love your writing style, you made me laugh out loud a few times!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :goodvibes
For us, the latter is a "You are now exiting Polk County, Fla. and are 25 minutes from the highway exit" tradition. Journey version, tho.
Nice. Don't Stop Believin' is the perfect WE'RE ALMOST AT WDW song.

Lia, you get an extra special separate post because there's so much I need to comment on.
I LOVE Jimmy Fallon. Always have. Didn't know how he'd do as a host but I think he's great at it now. I love how many celebrities he personally knows from SNL and stuff, because the interviews are so cool, just like two friends talking.
Exactly. It never seems like I'm watching an interview, it's more like I'm watching a conversation.

I love your pink crocs!!
Aren't they just so stylish? ;) Oh Crocs....

OMG Jon & Kate Plus 8 used to be so good. Not feelin' the hate on Kate though. I love that woman, omg. DO WE FINALLY HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION ON SOMETHING?!? LOL. Usually I feel like everything you say i'm like OMG ME TOO!! hahahaha
Well, she's definitely entertaining, but something about her just rubs me the wrong way. I'm not sure exactly what it is. And you're right...I think this is our first differing opinion! OMG. I feel like the entire universe has shifted. Who am I? Where am I? I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON ANYMORE!!

I'm sorry that you have anxiety attacks girl :( I can't believe it got so bad that you said you didn't want to go! That's terrible. But I'm really happy you got it sorted out and I'm sure once you got to WDW all was forgotten. At least, I hope! Stupid stiff jaw :(
It was forgotten. Mainly. Except for one flare up at Le Cellier. But we'll get to that later.

Can I ask why you chose to drive? Cheaper or do you just like road trips? I love road trips, but I haven't driven to Disney (or anywhere further than 10 hours) since 2004. Y'know, I'm not exactly sure why we drive. We just always have. It's kind of a tradition now. But if I were going to WDW by myself (or with my friends...heh like that'd ever happen. Lame friends) I'd definitely fly.

Omg. Ghost hunting shows. DO YOU WATCH PARANORMAL STATE????????? I aaaaaammmm iiiiiinnnn llllllllloooooovvvvveeeee with Ryan Buell. I can't even.
No, I've never seen Paranormal State. When is it on? Should I add it to the ever growing list of TV shows I obsessively watch?

I LOVE APPLEBEES. You know what, I don't even care that people say it is trashy or WHATEVER. When I want to be at a 5 star restaurant, I will be, but sometimes I just want boneless buffalo chicken and some quesadillas. People in Manhattan are so stuck up about that kind of thing and it annoys me.
Oh gosh. Applebees' quesadillas are soooo good. I could just keep eating them forever.

Sigh. Omg.
I am a BIG Queen fan too (obviously. Apparently the Kate Gosselin issue is the only thing we're ever going to disagree about), so I was ridiculously excited when I heard that they were doing Somebody to Love and it absolutely didn't disappoint. It's gorgeous.

My parents always say that when they retire, they are moving to Florida and working at Disney. That doesn't sound half bad to me. :thumbsup2

Not to jump into the conversation here, but you love ghost hunting shows and you haven't seen Paranormal State??????? :scared1:

I don't know when it's on right now, if at all, they're probably getting ready for a new season. It's on A&E, it used to be on right after Intervention on Monday nights, then they moved it to either Tuesday or Wednesday nights. It will probably be on again in the fall, I should check the A&E website, I was just thinking about this show and why I haven't seen it lately, and now this reminded me! :cool1:

Lia, you get an extra special separate post because there's so much I need to comment on.

You know, I'm not surprised. I'm sorry people are so jealous of me, but I can't help it that I'm popular!

It was forgotten. Mainly. Except for one flare up at Le Cellier. But we'll get to that later.

Oh noooo! Of all places, LE CELLIER?!?! WHERE JESUS HIMSELF RESIDES IN THE KITCHEN???? OMG.

Giiiiiiiirl. It's on hiatus right now, but it's usually on Tuesdays at 10 on A&E. It's about this sexy soulmate of mine, Ryan Buell. He says he was ~tormented~ by evil spirits as a child and has always been fascinated by ~the unknown~ and all of that, so he started being a paranormal investigator in high school. Then went to Penn State for college and started the Paranormal Research Society there, and it grew into this huge thing and a bunch of other students got way into it, and they would all go on investigations together. He knows all these demonologists and psychics who help them figure out what the f is going on in these people's houses. Then, like 3 years ago, A&E called him up and was all "Hay, that's a pretty weird story, your life would probably make a good show." So now they follow them on these investigations. Some of it is insanely boring and some of it is HORRIFYING. Everyone and their mom says the show is completely fake, though. I think that some of it is fake and dramatized to make the show intense, and some of it is real. Ryan is too obsessed with it, I mean he made this his life, for it to all be fake. But I mostly just watch it because Ryan is so hot. It could be a show about anything and I would watch it for him. Anyway the episodes are on Youtube and I have gone on long enough. LOL.
