Congratulations to you and Miguel!

I clicked on your trip report because the title really caught my eye. My DH, DD & I went to WDW last October with my DMIL and the 3 of us kept saying to each other "it's better when it's just the three of us". We love my DMIL dearly but having her with us changed the dynamic of the trip and it just wasn't the same.

Then the 3rd day there DH and DMIL ended up getting sick and the weather turned and was rainy. In all our "just the 3 of us" trips we always had good health and good weather. DMIL kept saying she must be a jinx. I think maybe so --- the last time we went with her (and DFIL in 2000) she twisted her knee and was in a wheelchair the whole trip.

DH, DD & I are planning to return to WDW in October 2013 and we hope DMIL doesn't ask to tag along. It's going to be awkward to say no.

Enjoying your Honest report...it is oftentimes so easy to think everything everytime is all so perfect, so for others making a trip for the first time, your TR is a great way to see that its not all rosy all the time, but it is DISNEY after all, and like you did, make the very best of it all......

I actually just returned from Disney and commented to my fiancé about how many pregnant women I saw. It made me so happy...I completely agree that it doesn't matter how many rides you can do; it's just being there that makes you happy!

So much to catch up on!

--Such cute pictures with Pooh and Tigger!
--Sorry about the headaches! I get frequent headaches as well. I essentially had one for 10 weeks straight while I was pregnant, which really sucks because I “get” to do that whole first trimester thing again! Hopefully next time I will get a baby out of it!
--Love the French Fry holders. Definitely going to get those if they are still there next Oct!
--Have you found anything but that Guerlain stuff that works? My poor niece and nephew have awful eczema. I feel so bad for them, because nothing works (to be honest though, I don’t know what my sister has tried)…
--Great pictures of the globe!
--Sorry that you had such a hard night. It is difficult when people comment on your health when you aren’t physically well. I am always even more sensitive when I feel physically ill, and I am pretty sensitive when feeling well!
--Love that you started planning your trip that night! It is nice to have a re-do trip on the horizon!
--Congrats on the pregnancy! I think your plan to go in Oct is a good one. You had a Disneymoon there, only natural that you would spend your Babymoon there! What a great due date! Mine was 11/17/12, but looks like 2013 might be our year? Hopefully so! I am sick of waiting!

First of all, I just had to come out of "lurk mode" and tell you congrats on the baby! That is so wonderful and I can tell that you and Miguel will make such sweet parents. Second, I am so enjoying your TRs! My DH and I are planning a September trip which is kind of like a honeymoon for us, but it will be on our 1st anniversary. I am getting some great ideas from you (particularly you Disneymoon TR). I also wanted to tell you how much I understand how you feel about the family vacation. I have been so many times with some real pains. The complaining is the WORST! You go to so much trouble for people and they just don't "get it". Anyway...I am now subscribed and look forward to more of this TR as well as your PTR and TR for the trip that you and Miguel will make in October as parents-to-be. I think that will be so magical to see WDW from a totally different point of view.
