It's beginning to look a lot like Chirstmas? Help, SSB needs your advice on his Tree!

Ok, I guess that it is the 10th.... and wondering if there is some protocal about how long SSB can keep his Christmas tree up? Find it kind of nice to have around, as only thing that I leave lit up at night.... but wondering if I am going to start getting strange looks from visitors... or if someone is going to turn me in for violating some "rule"!????

Is it a real tree? If so, I'd give it another week. After that it's probably violating all kinds of fire codes!

If it's artificial, then keep it up for as long as you like or until people start rolling their eyes at you!

I have to say that I feel a little bummed when I take my tree down too.......I'm not gonna rush myself cause it makes me feel happy!!
Don't hurry too much SSB~if it's still up at Valentines Day you can just hang hearts on it......shamrocks on it in March....pretty colorful eggs in April......flowers in May.......etc......

If it's artificial, leave it up as long as you want! I would guess that your visitors give you strange looks about stuff other than the Xmas tree anyway

If it's real, I'd only go another week...........

I work with a nurse who does exactly that! For each holiday she decorates it!

On the 4th of July she has red, white and blue lights and little flags all over it! She keeps it like that right on through to Labor Day, then decorates the tree with a 'back to school' theme!

I say another week tops. I have a neighbor that has one of those year round artificial plants...the kind that's all trunk on the bottom and the little green leaves on top. They keep white lights on it year round and light it all the time. It looks nice, and it's not Christmasy for the rest of the year. Enjoy that tree!

Took mine down today. It's always such a sad thing to do. I say keep it up as long as it's lookin' good, SSB! When it's down to bare branches, it needs to be put to rest.

Hey if it makes you feel better to think that your "visitors" are looking at you "funny" because you still have your tree up, by all means leave the tree up! Are you wearing your grass skirt?

p.s. our tree was on the "city brush pile" at 10:00 am December 26th. My dh was soooo proud because it was the first tree on the pile.

SSB, we still have our tree up. It is a live one and it is still taking water even after a month of having it up. Unfortunately, my DS's b'day is next week and we have to take it down to make room for people coming over. It's an 8 ft. tree!

I work with a nurse who does exactly that! For each holiday she decorates it!

My parents have one of those "pencil" trees and leave it up all year round and decorate it for all the seasons and holidays.

We just took our tree down 2 days ago - but haven't lugged it back up to the attic - and my two white lighted trees are still outside.

Hey SSB, I say leave it up. My neighbors still have their "Happy Birthday Jesus" sign up and still light it every night. The season doesn't have to end yet, apparently. So I say, leave it up until you feel like taking it down.

I say leave it up as long as it makes you happy. Besides, I didn't get to put one up, so if you keep yours up for double the time, then in the "Times for trees to be on display scales" there will be balance.

I say leave it up! Put some snowflakes on it. In February, switch to hearts.

April=Easter eggs
May=flowers
June=
July=red, white and blue
August=
September=Fall leaves ???
October=Halloween decor
November=Thanksgiving decor
December=You're all set

Anyone have suggestions for June, August and September?
