Love2Run--Just search Facebook for "October 2012 DISers." People are mainly posting ADR's or plans as well as other random fun stuff. I only stumbled upon it a couple of days ago. Welcome to my PTR!!! I see from your name that you'd get along great with my parents.
lledman--Here's to hoping your kids never lose their love of magic. Disney has always been our family thing. Now I'm trying.
ash-n-brensmom--Thanks! As any of my friends will tell you, I have a small obsession with my dogs. I think when I'm at school I miss them more than my parents
But that's just 'cause Mom and Dad aren't fluffy
Chelley00 and kdka421!! Glad to have you aboard this crazy train.
So, in honor of passing the 70 day mark, I've decided to announce our costumes for MNSSHP!!! And also because I just can't keep them a secret anymore. We're going as.......
drumroll please.......
THE DISNEY PARKS!!!!!
Yes, you read that right. I'm Epcot, Mom's Animal Kingdom, and Dad's DHS. We're each going to be the different landmarks. Eventually (when I finish them) I will post pictures of the costumes. Mine was store-bought, as I'm wearing a gray tank top with silver sequins and a silver skirt as Spaceship Earth. That was an experience...I dragged my poor boyfriend along. He had to deal with me holding up different shirts asking "Is this more Epcot, or is this?" I'm working on Mom's right now. She'll be wearing a leafy headband and leafy bracelets (which are done), as well as a brown t-shirt with animal silhouettes on the front. (And ONLY the front, because this is waaay more work than I thought and I'm just too darn lazy to do the back as well). Dad will have a blue t-shirt with silver moon and stars painted on it. We also might buy him one of the actual hats when we get down here just to make sure the point is very clear, and so he has the ears.
I'm scaring my mom with my craftiness, and I feel as if I've crossed the line into craft world by purchasing my very first hot glue gun! As I've had the last week off of work due to lack of events, I've had time to go a little crazy. I even have Mickey Mouse toenails because I was bored and had spent too much time on Pinterest
