How are you all doing? Any new additions?

I've started my 3rd trimester as of today! I can't believe it's gone so fast but then again it seems like I've been preggers forever.
I failed my 1 hour glucose test and took the 3 hour today but a back up at the lab made it into a 4 hour test. I was so hungry! I'll get the results tomorrow. I also have low iron which explains the fatigue.
Little Thor is kicking like a champ but always stops when DH puts his hand to feel it, this may be a good thing if he continues this when he gets big and I want him to calm down. ;) We have bought a bassinet and a rocker but not much else; we are looking at a new house and we don't want to buy stuff and then have to move it. I really want to start on my nursery though!

I entered third trimester two weeks ago. My pregnancy seems to have gone by fairly fast but I think that is because I know what to expect and we were building a house for the first two trimesters so I had a lot on my mind!!

Hoping I can make it until the baby comes doing the job I do. I am on my feet most of the day and running around a hospital from room to room!!

Boy do I wish I was in my 3rd trimester! I'm 8 weeks along and counting!Feeling O.K. just very tired and quite nauseous-oh well it's to be expected!
I failed that test my 1st pregnancy also.Pretty gross drink, huh? And they don't even let you leave during the 3 hour test because they are afraid something might happen!BORING!!!!
Good luck Sonya and you'll love having a boy!Nothing like the Mommy/little boy bond.He will think you are the most beautiful woman in the whole world and he will mean it!!Your DH will have the best little playmate also.Mommy heals all wounds but NO ONE can play better/harder than the Daddy!!!!!JMHO

I'm 29 weeks. I'm having a c-section on May 7th. My 1 hour test wasn't so bad this time. They gave me the orange soda-like drink, last time I had the coke syrup, yuck.Only 5 more weeks of work, yay.

Continued best wishes to you, Sonya, and also to Kim, Nancy and grumpy, and all the expectant DIS moms. Best health for you and your little ones, along with comfort. :)

Thanks for the well wishes Dan!
Grumpy you will have to keep me informed about the c-section as I will be having one also in Octoer!Good Luck!

I am 17w5d today. I had severe nausea from week 8 to about week 16. But I am finally feeling better and have some energy.
I have my big ultrasound on 3/25. Hopefully the baby will cooperate so we can find out the sex.
I'm feeling the baby move just about everyday. Nothing big, just little blips here and there.
It finally feels good to be pregnant! :D

NurseKim,
When I was pregnant with DS I think it was around week 8 that I started to get REALLY sick.I was SO bad that I had to go in for fluids 3 times and the doctor finally put me on compozine which helped.I told him that I was concerned about being on any kind of medication and he said that if I didn't take it most likely I would be admitted because I couldn't even keep a sip of water down!So of course I took it!I sympathize with you whole heartedly!I've been quite nauseous this time around but other than 2/3 times I haven't actually vomited.I just want the next couple of weeks to be over though because next Tuesday will be 8 weeks for me.I'm hoping that I will make it through it!!!Dreading the possibility that I will be sick like last time!
Good luck and glad to hear you are feeling better!

I'm 18w1d today. :) I've been feeling great...no morning sickness! The fatigue has been gone since mid-January. I almost feel like my old self...except that I get tired more quickly and my clothes don't fit any more. ;) I've been wearing maternity pants for a few weeks now, but the shirts still look silly...but I will wear the shirts at WDW this week (We leave today) so that I look pregnant and not just fat! LOL!

I haven't really felt the baby move much...sometimes I think I feel something, but I'm not really sure. We go for our first ultrasound on March 12th! Can't wait!!

Glad to hear everyone else is doing well. :)

22 week and counting
feeling bigger around the middle every day
popping out so much quicker than with DD
nausea gone & able to eat & enjoy
had our 2nd level ultrasound yesterday
did not find out sex of baby
going with the surprise
it's going so fast
I haven't even started buying diapers yet

Little Thor is kicking like a champ but always stops when DH puts his hand to feel it, this may be a good thing if he continues this when he gets big and I want him to calm down.

Don't count on it...DS did the same thing to DH. I thought I'd be okay as long as DH was around to put his hand on my belly but once I got to my 8th month or so it didn't work anymore. DH was happy though because he could finally feel him kicking :)

Congrats to all the new mommies-to-be :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Bummer Princess Aurora. I was hoping...

I too had bad morning sickness and they put me on meds to keep me from losing any more weight. I was so happy when it passed! The 2nd trimester was so wonderful but trying to fit into maternity clothes was a pain when you are not big enough. I'm finally looking preggers and not just fat. I'm already feeling uncomfortable even though it's just the start of the 3rd trimester.

Congrats everyone!

I am now 34wks. I have been put on bed rest because I have been having contractions. This also happened with my first(born at almost 38wks) I also found out I have a bladder infection:(

The baby is doing just fine and kicking and moving around alot. I have a hard time sleeping and have been very uncomfortable in general!! I just can't wait till I have my baby in my arms, but not before I can at least get through 36wks.

I am also moving, and my house has sold and we move around March 21st. So, I also cannot decorate a nursery yet. I had a baby shower and have all this stuff I have to leave in boxes till we get settled in our new place.

I passed the glucose test and my general health has been good. I have to go to the Dr. every week now and this Tues. will have the Strep test.

Anyway, enough complaints!! Sorry!!
I wish all you pregnant disers all the best!:D

I'll be 19 weeks on Tuesday...seems like I've been pregnant forever! I thought this pregnancy would go much quicker than my first since I'm so busy with my 4-year-old, but that hasn't been the case. We'll have a sonogram on 3/26 & hopefully find out if we're having a boy or a girl. I'll have a c-section at the end of July.

Good luck with your pregnancies, everyone! :teeth:
