I remember regular price increases every year and sometimes more often than that over the entire 15 years that I have been a member of DVC. It seems like we are now in a period in which there have not been any price increases for quite some time.

What do you think is going on and why? :confused3

The economy isn't the best at the moment and the higher end Timeshare industry as a whole is "maturing." Disney probably appeals to younger families more than other timeshares, so their market may continue to grow, but you also have some older members who are looking to sell or are leaving their ownership to their kids/younger family members, so more resale points are becoming available, too.

If I am remembering correctly, the last increase for non-members was in March (and June, I think, for members) so it's been less than a year since the last one.

I was just thinking that another one could happen at any time. I think that if the CRV hopes become reality, I think that DVC can ask for a higher per point value there, keeping the other resorts below that, helping SSR and AKV to continue to sell. Maybe they are waiting for a CRV announcement or the beginning of sales at GCV.
