... but all of the seller’s closing documents were FINALLY received by the Timeshare Closing Services.

This was our experience:
April 20 – Made Offer
April 22 – Offer Accepted
April 27 – Sent deposit via Priority Mail
May 11 – Submitted to Disney for ROFR by Agent (delay b/c agent was out of town- ugh!)
June 3 – Passed ROFR (another long wait!)
June 9 – Returned closing documents and certified check via FedEx overnight
June 18 – All closing documents were to be submitted by both parties by this date
June 21 – Seller returned documents – not witnessed and not notarized – needed to be returned to them (ugh!!)
June 24 – Timeshare closing services informed me that all the seller’s documents were received (and properly notarized) (yeah!!)

So, ours was not the “ideal” situation, but at least we finally made it --- almost – now I just want to be able to call and make a reservation!!! The Closing Company told me I could try them next Thursday (ugh – another week!!!). What has everyone’s experience been here?? Is there any way to speed this part along?? Conceivably, when do you think I can make a reservation – or even have them check availability???

You should be in the DVC system within a week. I'd call MS next week and just see if you're there yet- they can look you up by your SS#.

Enjoy!
