They're currently hosting a massive bash at the Palace with STAGGERING crowds out for a good time And if you're not there, you're probably in one of thousands of street parties across the nation! EVERYBODY GET NAKED!

A Royal can also dissolve parliament even with the constitution they have and people could do nothing about it. All monarchies should become democratic republics. In 100 years, I honestly believe all monarchies of Europe will become full democratic republics.

Times change. And that figure head still has power in your constitutional parliament, which most royalists respond “Oh the royals would never do that”. My point is why don’t the royals relinquish even more power back to the people? You don’t need a monarch to have a NHS. There is no reason commonwealth countries should be attached to the crown. No formal colonies should be paying anything to the UK. The UK should be reinvesting into them to get them out of the poverty state that Britain is responsible for. By doing that, it would raise the global economy and therefore create more opportunities in a large part of the world. I’m not telling you how to run a country, but I’m pointing out that monarchies serve no legitimate purpose in modern global society.

My point is she shouldn’t have the power to do so at all in modern times and I’ll leave it with that. My ancestors were in the USA during the Revolution and had some of their homes forced to quarter British troops. I’m proud of my British heritage but I have no passion for the monarchy.

The British are America’s greatest ally and I fully respect your country.
