I was able to enter Perfect fit again today with no problem.

It's been so cold up here in the North East. And we have more snow coming the next 4 days.
Last night I decided to put a nice coping strategy in place since It's still not looking like I'll get to Disney this year.
I have a lighted palm tree so I set it up in my bathroom next to my tub. Hung beach towels and lit some candles and placed a "sand castle" in front of The candles. Of course I lined my Disney plushies up along the towel bar.
I took a picture and sent it to my friends saying "Florida or bust!"
It was fun to get the laugh but you know when I did finally get a chance to fill the tub with warm water and soak, it was relaxing.
Now I'm sure I'll be more relaxed pool side at a resort, but for now that was fun.

Oh and at Walmart today I saw an Olaf waffle maker. That was super cute. I have a Mickey one so I couldn't justify buying another but it was tempting. I'll keep going back and see if they reduce it more.

While waiting to win your vacation what coping strategies do you have?

I can't believe I just found this thread! I entered the FlipSide contest every day and have so far entered the Perfect Fit every day. Now I will start doing the WW one too. The only way we will get to the World this year is through a trip, we have gone the past two years and hubs needs a Disney break. Pixie dust to all!!

Just saw someone post on a Disney fb group that her husband won the flipside today. Confused on when he actually won though because she said he got an email first and then he's already called to set up dates. Either way I'm starting to lose hope on that contest as well :/ Good thing I have plenty more to enter!

Never say never... I just got an email from Betty! She said it may be several weeks before Disney Parks contact me but I sure hope not! Very eager to see if I can still use our original dates (and ADRs!)

Yes of course! January 26th - it was my birthday if you can believe it! Whoever won first must have not responded right? Its been way too long since then..! How long has it been taking to hear from Disney Parks? It still doesn't feel real yet.. even though Betty sent the original email, then the one with the affidavit that I filled out and had a notary sign and then sent the congratulations and that Disney Parks would contact me! Please say I am good to go now!!!!

She is really nice I bet she wishes she could email everyone! I got my first email midday PST today, but by now I am sure all those east coasters are enjoying their weekend! Luckily my boss's assistant is a notary so she was able to stamp the form for me right away!
