It's Back-January Trip-A-Day Contest!

Winners - I am wondering if you ever had any trouble with your contest entries like others are experiencing. Also, have you tried to enter since you won? Will it let you? TIA

OhMari, I was just looking through the last few pages of posts and noticed that you said your husband just worked in Worchester, MA. LOL, because that is how people from out of state think Worcester is pronounced, just haven't seen someone actually spell it that way other than cc on tv! Hope he is done as not to work through mountains of snow to get to the gas lin

I will be dreaming of Disney through this huge storm that is about to hit. I am also surprised by the number of us from MA. I live about 15 min. west of Worcester, but grew up near Leominster, and it is my shopping/dining grounds when I drop my son off at the mountain to snowboard.

Maybe many of us from the east coast head to Disneyworld for vacations, where as maybe more of you from CO and beyond tend to go to Disneyland? Just a thought. My son is heading there in March. I think he might be planning on relocating there, but I don't want to think about it!!

So happy another winner took time to post! I can't stop checking for a winning message! I was wondering what I was going to look up on the computer with no Disney trip to plan anymore! I am going crazy checking my emails for a win, while storm crazed people here are taking a nutty on our local supermarket for running out of bananas yesterday!

I emptied my Spam folder on accident...CRAP!!!!!!!!!

Stupid stupid habit. I wonder how many of the winners had their email go to that folder...and what type of email account they have. I have Yahoo.

Congratulations to the new winner! :D

I'm feelin' lucky today! The kids and I had Disney music on for the ride to school and they were crossing all appendages and eyes that we get that email today. If nothing else, at least it made for a funny visual in the rear view window.

I hope all those in the path of the storm stay safe and warm. Where I am in CO has highs of 60's today and tomorrow (although we still have snow on the ground from last weeks storm, gotta love it!) but we're on track for snow this weekend. I wish I could send some of this beautiful weather to you!

I am loving our warm spell! We hung outside yesterday afternoon and the kids rode bikes. Seems like so long since we have had it this nice.

I just got back from the local market "ALDI" to pick up a few gluten free things for my oldests son and me (I'm trying but just had a danish...blush) and although the store was busy, the Walmart parking lot was frightening.

As I was loading my car, my phone rang. Call from 407 area code. LOL of course I have the chance to win a trip to Orlando, ft Lauderdale or miami.
I laughed and said "don't waste my time, I already will be winning the Disney trip." and hung up. It was a recording but felt good to say it.

Anyway I grabbed some more eggs because I plan to do some baking today and then while I was there I was grabbing things to send back to my son's apartment if he does come home for a couple days.
This guy in the store said "You better get that baked before the power goes out." To which I smartly said back "Don't worry I have it covered! Yes I will bake today but most of this is going back to my son's apartment, and besides the toaster oven works great with the generator running." I had all I could do but stick my tongue out at him. But he then joined me and said "oh your doing the Mom thing that our mothers did for us." and then smiled at me and moved on. I think he embarrassed himself. Whatever.

Trust me if I can't cook we have more than enough in the cabinet to live on. I've also been precooking not for the storm but because if I get it all done, then I have more time to come and read here and talk to you. LOL

NEV2OLD4DISNEY, we are definitely neighbors. I'm about 20-25 from Worcester. That's why I'm hoping my son gets his butt home today.
Goosh if he moved to Cali I'd be a mess. He's been gone a couple weeks and I miss him being here.

Off to do laundry before I get too distracted by my email from Betty.

:worship::wizard:

All those in MA I hope you all stay warm. My grandmother is in Worcester, and my uncle is in Stow. I will be here in Richmond taking pics of my thermometer and no snow, and texting it to them  All kidding aside their is another storm next week. It's an early prediction, but calling for 14'' here. I've never lived in Richmond with snow, but living in Norfolk for 15 years 1'' shuts everything down :rotfl:

Maybe Betty will email me before the storm :rolleyes1

I lived in Ayer MA until 99 and now we are outside of Richmond Aubreysmom! My kids prayed and prayed for this storm to hit us last night and I have to admit I am a little jealous that my New England family is getting it all :(

No enter button, tried to the Spanish route, the button did appear, but it did not accept my sign in?

Massachusetts here, awaiting the Northeaster :hourglass .... Disney dreaming of a stay at the castle suite :cloud9:

Just tried again, and came back to edit this post, because I was able to enter! pixiedust:

Did you swear at it in Spanish? That may have worked. ;)

Congrats to all the winners! I've been entering daily since the beginning, just as I've done for the last 3 Januarys...

Why don't I ever win? :confused3 :rotfl:

I'm a freelance writer by trade, so I'm always online and checking my email anyway. But my checking this month has just been insane! Good luck to everyone else for the rest of the contest!

Me, too.

Many people commute into NYC from NJ/Long Island/ CT, etc. I'm sure that NJ Transit and the MTA are going to have issues with transportation tomorrow. They may very well be closed tomorrow.

Eh, people have laptops and can work from home. Seriously, it's snow, not a plague of locusts and flaming infernos. :rotfl: There's no way they'd choose a winner a day early.

Got an error message this morning, so I tried again and got maximum submission message. :sad1: Guess I don't get to enter today.....
