It's Back-January Trip-A-Day Contest!

I'm gonna give it 'til Friday (or someone posts saying they won for the 31st) before I lose hope on this one! I have had no problems whatsoever entering the Perfect Fit sweepstakes so that makes me happy. And the drawing for the first week of WW's should be in the next few days. There was a time table in the official rules but I can't remember what day it said exactly. I'll have to go back and check.

I'm right there with you - DH and I entered every day (and surprisingly with no errors!) I remember looking at the door on our last trip that leads to the suite and just wishing someone would come out and let me in Then with this contest thought I might have a chance. I'm one of those people though that the drawing could be between me and one other person and the other person would always win.

Congrats to the winners that get to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity!

It's pretty snowy here in Massachusetts.
I called my Dad and his wife to check in on them. Giggles, I may have convinced they to take a trip to WDW. They have had some rough health issues and could use a stress free vacation. (Well as stress free as Disney can make it) and the big draw is not having to rent a car and figure out driving.
Anyway, they are on line researching the resorts and what they would like to do.

I'm excited for them. I joked that I would go as their tour guide, but I think it will be more fun for them to just go the two of them and poke around at their own pace. Of course if they insisted on paying for me to have my own room and flight.......ya that would be hard to resisit.
But seriously I am happy for them to take this vacation. I hope they follow through and do it.

It says on her original email that she was emailed on this past Friday. She said she won for Jan 25th. So no there were not two winners for Jan 26th just 2 people notified on the same day. That is the way I take what amyb1120 said.

Ahhhh so you already have vacation #2 scheduled! So the Win is #3. Oh life is rough.
I just read a bunch of things changing at Disney and a bunch of things will be complete in 2016 so I'm ok with waiting. (NOT!)

And waiting until your birthday....I said that!!!!
I doubt they would forget about you. And look at all the brain storming you could do with us. And you can be coaching us through our new entries for next January.
I'm sure you will figure it out. And you will be excited more especially after your May trip. Looking forward to going again.

I know! I was planning on being good this year and only doing two trips (we don't have kids which makes frequent travel easy!) so this blindsided me! Thank you for the birthday idea then! <3 I'm sorry I forgot it was you! I am going to call my parents again tonight at their request and talk more about what to do with May.. as I said I really am leaning towards cancelling that one since it would help me with the vacation time - my coworkers think going twice when one is free is nuts (they are Disney freaks too I assure you). I feel too lucky and I'm still feeling uncomfortable doing three trips logistically... that might make me feel much better about it all! I may be good at making decisions but I'm horrid about making sure everyone ELSE is ok with my decisions... I am way too empathetic. I should have clarified my superpower, lol!

Any year with a free trip is magical but I'm so tight on vacation time...! We've planned to go to Europe for YEARS and we booked a once-in-a-lifetime trip already last Autumn. Flights have been made, a tour group was booked with to go to the opening weekend of Oktoberfest in Munich, hotel in Zermatt so we can hike around the REAL matterhorn (love the Disneyland ride but did they HAVE to make it BUMPIER?!) and arrangements to meet up with my brother in London to boot.... it would be such a nightmare to change any of that but its eating up the lion's share of my vacation so squeezing in a third trip... ugh. I'll know for certain if they'd be OK cancelling May tonight. I am getting the hunch that they are worried I can't just book the same things in Autumn but of course I can match all the reservations for dining and we can go to the other parks then too - they aren't going anywhere! If I'm wrong and its something else... well, hopefully they tell me what it is!

Hello all! Long time lurker here...

I got my email on Friday; can't believe it! I'm a single mom of three kids (DD11, DD9, DS6), and we are all HUGE WDW fans. My boyfriend has DVC, but I didn't think I'd be able to scrape the money together to take my kids until 2017. They are going to FLIP when I tell them!

We have other DVC friends whom we meet every few months to recreate Disney recipes. We call ourselves the Disney Dining Club. They are going in October, and now we can join them! Our next meeting is Saturday, so we are going to tell them that night. I'm going to TRY to keep the castle secret until we are in WDW, but that's going to be nearly impossible!

The timing couldn't be better; my ex and his new girlfriend are having a baby at the end of August, so I'm thrilled to be able to give my kids this memory.

Just so we don't look crazy her original post said the 26th, she must have had a typo and corrected it from the 26th to the 25th. That is why a few of us were confused.
