Anyone else stalking this post in hopes of seeing a winner? I told my DH that we WILL WIN and should be notified this week I told him it was a guarantee and asked him to go ahead and choose a resort...

Yes I'm stalking! And yes I'm already mapping out and planning my win and updating my DH about it. He thinks I'm nuts but we'll see who's nuts when I get the email or call.

I think however many people are subscribed to this thread would whole-heartedly answer yes to this question

I think we'd all agree that if we don't win we'd at least like to hear about other people on the Disboards winning and filling us in on all the amazing details! I mean we'd all be insanely jealous of that person but happy at the same time!!

My DH won't even entertain my discussions about winning and planning anything. He's the pessimist who has already said we won't win...I'm a realist in that I know the odds are probably 1 in a million but I'm optimistic because I know someone has to win so why not me! Actually 31 people will win so why can't I be one of those 31

I am sure Disney does this competition every year because it pays off for them in the end. I mean think about all the people who enter and already start planning a trip around the hopes of winning. Then assume even 1/10th of those people are so excited about their Disney vacation that even if they don't win they go and book a trip for that year. I would imagine even with the cost of the 31 free trips that it pays off big time for them!!

I can relate to this post too. I have the same chance as everyone else that enters so why can't I be one of the 31? And my husband isn't telling me I won't win, but I don't believe he believes it's possible.
And I definitely agree that entering each day brings me closer to planning a vacation with or without a win. So ya Disney knows what this doesn't to improve the thoughts and feed the addiction.
Heck if I could find another place that is a "fairly short" plane trip, changes the weather drastically, picks me up and transports me around, any kind of food I want available, someone to clean my room and make my bed, and a week of me being organized........I'd try someplace else too.
But I have yet to hear of any other place that can fill the entertainment factor or any of the other things above.

My friend texted me a little bit ago. She was in Tomorrowland. I love the "name that location" game. So far I'm right. Can't wait to see the next picture. LOL

Lighted palm tree going in the bathroom tonight with a nice hot bath. Maybe I'll even wear my bathing suit and close my eyes to feel like it's a hot tub. Minus the bubbles but thats ok. Last time I was down there the resort hot tube either was full of kids or couples. Neither was an invite for me to join.
Hmmm wonder what music I can pipe into the house to pretend I'm there.

Last night I was tired coming home from work and texted DH saying that in my fantasy world my kitchen would be clean and ready for me to cook since my mom is staying with us for the week (a woman who NEVER cleans!)! He said, "Yeah right!"

Well, low and behold when I came home the kitchen was cleaned. I turned to him and said, "See, with this luck I've definitely won a night in Cinderella's castle!"

He thinks I am absolutely crazy!

That's why someone figured out we will be stalking this page, our email accounts, and our phones until about February 21st.

It makes my super cold Winter a wee bit exciting.

Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I don't think there are a million entries per day. I'm not sure all entrants have the ability to 1, remember each and every day to enter, and 2, give a care enough to get through all the BS involved in the website.

Today I got an email saying I won....a Land Rover! And 900,000 dollars! They just needed some personal information I deleted that right away!

I did have a mini heartattack when I saw the words "Congrats!"

I like your thinking and agree. Last year, I already knew I was going back and didn't enter everyday because I didn't think I had a chance to win, nor did my brain care. I was going solo in February. LOL

Someone had said "if you have gmail, the prize notification will probably go to your promotion account, and the name of the agent from Ventura would be who it was from" so just now I was looking at my email cause I had (gasp) walked away from the computer and saw "tony" in the promotion box.

Nope Not Ventura.

But what has come to mind is that I am a 1 in a million person to know so my odds are pretty good.

Don't panic. You might not have GMAIL set up to sort your inbox that way.

My gmail sorts incoming email into

Primary......social.....promotions.....updates.....forums

To get to each one I have to select a tab.
If your gmail is not set up todo this, then you probably just have one inbox and then below the unread emails is the read emails.

I get so much crap in my email lately because every store wants your email and every time something gets ordered on line it generates yet another kind of email. And of course each has some kind of % off and save money.
It's a pain and I know eventually I have to start unsubscribing to things.

But for now.......

So don't panic.
Someone said they do a search in their email for Ventura and Congratulations. I've been doing that too.

I'm terrified to delete any emails from my cell phone in case I mess it up and miss the email. Really I wish I knew for sure a phone call was their back up plan. Both a land line call and cell phone. I put them both in when I was on my last trips.

I wish I was having Dole Whip for dinner.

Alright guys - here is my sob story for the week. Accidentally changed my username with my email carrier (long story), and didn't know that it changed my actual email address! Spent 1.5 hours on the phone with them last night.......was told it should be able to be changed back to my real email, but will take 48-72 hours! So of course, I am freaking out because that means I am going to miss the acceptance window for my winning email.......also worried that the email will not even get through because the email address is "invalid" right now.

Hoping the winners are getting phone call this year!
