Did I mention it? We decided to go to the American Women's Association Halloween Trunk or Treat party on Sunday. They hired out a local football field and you have to decorate your car boot or trunk.
I stalked them for American Independence Day last year because of the scav hunt. This time round, I figured I'd pay the money and be legit about it. The money goes towards the Royal Children's Hospital.

I think I might have mentioned this before....

Anyway...I was shopping for items to decorate the trunk and went to a fabric and craft place. They had their Halloween stuff at 50% off. So, I managed to get a few things.

Are you going to fill it with candy too?

I don't understand why they are all moving so fast. Shouldn't they savor the event? It seems that running around in that unnatural manner that the event would end rather quickly and I can't even figure out what they are doing.

4.00 - 5.30 pm Games and Costume contest (secret judging)
4.30 - 5.30 pm Pizza and Drinks
5.30 - 5.40 pm Announcement of costume (and raffle) winners
5.40 - 6.30 pm Trunk or treating

I guess we go home after that!

I know, I was being silly. I have had a long day with cancelling, booking and dealing with a delusional morphine induced patient. Back in my younger days I would have wanted to try the morphine, but knowing what her 1100 Norcos (when I take half) do to me, I don't want to even try! it's nothing exciting like ilicit drugs, just debilitating!
