We may be on 250 when Alison is driving to Tulare with no way to post.

I'm not going to Tulare! But I might not be going to Florida.

I spent the last couple hours futzing with Morphine. Then it turns out Arline had tons of the medication I was frantically calling all over Long Beach to attempt to locate!

I am trying to scan somethIing to my email but when I go to print it, it is cut off. so not the full image

I'm not much good at scanning. If it is cutting it off, have you tried to rearrange things or check that its a 1:1 scan? The alternative is to photocopy reduce your original image and then scan it at the reduced size to fit your scanner.

Do you have a photocopier? It should allow you to reduce the size of the photocopy...

Well it would not be fun if you are in pain.

Tomorrow I will investigate cancellation policies for Loew's Royal Pacific and American Airlines. We've had to cancel and rebook flights with them before, so I'm familiar with their policies, but I need to find out the dates we booked the flights and when they need to be used by.

If we don't get on the plane Tuesday, I'll have plenty of time to cancel the DVC reservations so that I don't completely lose the points, they will go into holding which means I need to use them before September 1, but can only book the trip 60 days in advance.

The real kicker is the $500 we spent on non refundable F&W events. Her main concern is how she will get in and out of hte bathroom on the plane. She knows I will let her rest as much as she needs, and if I have to I'll go eat the F&W stuff myself. Maybe bring her back some leftovers.

I arranged to get Arline home, the Deacon at her church is driving down to near Magic Mountain and I'll drive her up there. It's pretty sweet that I don't have to drive over the Grapevine because that wigs me out. This will happen tomorrow. Fran can rest while I take Arline. I just hope she gets better.

Thank god Arline had extra Morphine!

Well at least from long beach its not that far to the bottom of the grapevine. I dont find the grapevine scary, other mountain roads yes. Will she be ok if you left her for that short time?

I know how much effort you have put into all of this AND to make sure Fran's needs were all met and all sorts of contingencies.

Do you have any travel insurance cover on credit cards you have. Because we travel overseas (responsible) Australians always get travel insurance. If only for medical expenses in the USA. I racked up a $4000 bill for 9 hours in Celebration hospital.
But it also will cover cancellations and any expenses paid for planned travel.
Many credit cards have a form of cover as well.

Obviously this isn't what you want to do. You want to go. But just something...
