Phew...just caught up with you lot...

I know it's a bit 'old' now but just wanted to comment on the dinner. You didn't put that 'description' in the other thread...
It's funny how 'used' to a Chinese banquet I am now. I still get a bit creeped out how sometimes the servers hang around so much. We had dinner at ones place and it was relatively 'early' dinner I guess so we had about 5 watching our table of 7

My first experience was a wedding reception...then another wedding reception...then a 'regular' dinner. One of my Chinese friends actually likes the noodles that come with the lobster better than the lobster I think it's the sauce...

I'm feeling decidedly under the weather. I really need a new head and spine. I'm drugged to the hilt which has alleviated the pain....mostly....of course as much fruit as I set to try and 'counteract' the drugs I then have to deal with other pains......sigh....

To add to the fun our team are dropping like files. I know one worked until 1:30am last night and has yet to make an appearance today. While he was working hard we did spend about an hour rectifying a few errors that he made as he was working too tired

Two of us are currently working when we should be home sick...
And then we have the team leader away sick...
One chef is here...one not...

No, but they said it can take anywhere from 24 hours to a week. So I'm just waiting and filling out other applications.

Queenie, this reminds me a of a TR a friend did. Well with a projector in his living room. His dad said he wanted to climb Kilimarjaro, I thought this was odd as his dads health was in some decline from aging. But my friend wasn't going to pass this chance up and at least he did summit while the rest of his party waited for him.

He stayed at a lodge, because they toured a bit of Tanzania and Kenya as well. The lodge was all inclusive with safaris and other day activities. I asked if it was nice and he said yes but still amazingly cheap. My friend had to fix the lodge's vehicle that broke down taking them out to the lodge. He said dinner and breakfast was great each table had a waiter, server and busser. But suprising that with just him and his dad dining alone they didn't share any positions with any other tables. It was a good deal at about $120 a night.

I can't. The store is still under construction, so interviews were being held in a hotel across the street. I overheard them saying they were moving to a different hotel for another store tomorrow.
