Thankfully only an old bath mat has been sacrificed.
And interestingly mum didn't care about it an only asked if I'd lost the whole bottle of polish.
Which I didn't. It's still half full...but it looks like a massacre of red on the mat!

My day?



Cleaned the whole house....2 loads of washing (only 2 because I did some during the week). Chauffer for DS...cooked....
The dish washer is going and there is all that ironing to do. Ironing can wait till tomorrow.

What about your day? I noticed that Sydney got up to high 20's today. We were at least in the low 20's.

Wow...
I didn't get round to laundry but I will tomorrow....or I won't have stuff to wear next week....
Because yes.....it's HOT here and they say it's going to stay hot.
One of my workmates (who's still with us ) is racing the full marathon tomorrow. To say he is unhappy with 28degrees C is an understatement
I really feel sorry for him. He's going to be suffering badly in that heat.

Yes....Sydney reaches up to 40 (around 100F) in the peak of Summer. But over 25 and I'm unhappy

I'm not in the west where it gets extra hot (about 3-5 more than whatever you hear in the news)...I'm kinda inbetween. So we still get the affect of coastal breezes. But we aren't by the ocean as it's a tad pricey...

All I've wanted over the past week is a massive downpour to stand out it.


I hope DH appreciates coming home to a clean home and clean laundry.....while delivering more laundry for you

DH always appreciates coming home to a clean house and an empty washing machine. He's more than capable of loading his own clothes in the washing machine, setting it going and hanging out the washing. I'm really lucky in that he really helps out a LOT around the house. However, for tomorrow, I'm more than happy to take his washing on. He really looked tired and I know he hasn't been sleeping well.

We're going to the Taste of Melbourne tomorrow. Are you enjoying Taste of Sydney at all?


And speaking of tastes....

I honestly didn't know it was on but I will say putting it on on the same day as the marathon is madness...
Half the streets are closed.

He's more than capable of loading his own clothes in the washing machine, setting it going and hanging out the washing. I'm really lucky in that he really helps out a LOT around the house. However, for tomorrow, I'm more than happy to take his washing on. He really looked tired and I know he hasn't been sleeping well.

I guess so, we just finished moving all the boxes and crap out of the dining area in #2 so my parents have a place to sit and eat breakfast.

Now we're digging out the Loveseat in the Living room of #1 so we have places for four to watch movies when my parents arrive Thursday.
