It's amazing here this week

Just a quick note before we head out to AK today. We arrived on Friday night (technically Sat. morning), hoping Saturday at MK wouldn't be insane. Wow, were we surprised! We knocked out almost everything we wanted to do before noon, and the crowds were amazingly light for a Saturday. The laugh floor is really good, and the changes to HM are well done. Last night MK was open till midnight, and after the 10pm Spectro we pretty much walked on anything we wanted, except for Peter Pan, which still had a 30 min. wait.

Overall, this trip is exceeding expectations - the weather is freaking unreal. Crystal clear high seventies with lots of sunshine. We're having a great time!

Here is an envious SIGH....from someone who was there for ten days of searing heat, hours-long rainstorms, and clothes-sopping humidity back the first week in October...glad you are having such a great time!

Full trip report will be forthcoming - what a trip! Early Thanksgiving week is a wonderful time to be at WDW. It started to get really crowded on Wednesday, but Sat - Tues were great.

With the parks being open late the whole week if you don't get things done early you can come back late and walk on. After the 10pm parade things cleared out nicely, and we rode the mountains with almost no wait. Great time - we can't wait for our Mardi Gras trip!
