Yes, they're pretty cute, aren't they?? ;)

I agree on the LeCellier - I'd still like to try it. It's just hyped so much in everything I read, I was surprised to hear them talk like that. Can't wait to try the pumpkin carving, either - especially since our DHs will be there (it'll be a challenge for them, so they'll work really hard to do it! We can just corral the kids),

One month!! :goodvibes Yeah!!

Happy Tuesday!:flower3:

I think we have decided (O.K, I decided who am I kidding here:rotfl:! I don't think DH really cares anyway.) to keep Tutto Italia. For a few reasons:
1.I think we will like having a "break" in the AC on our Epcot day.
2.I want to try CP for an early breakfast and I am hoping my group will want to do it 2010 so we can try it then.;)
3.I just read another good review of Tutto Italia so I really want to try it. All that for one ADR? I am glad I am among friends here. Other people might not understand.

In other Disney related news, this weekend my DH and I went to a huge library book sale. We go to this particular sale once or twice a year. They have the best deals. I managed to score a few Disney items. I got a few books for my classroom. Some tour guides (they are from 2005-2007 but I don't mind. I still enjoy reading them.) I also found some CD's for my classroom. I got one classical and the others were all Disney. The Toy Story 2 soundtrack, Monsters Inc. soundtrack, Princess Favorites, Chicken Little soundtrack and Brother Bear soundtrack. I was really excited. My class will like listening to them too (and it adds a little Disney happiness to my day).

How does that look? Saturday does not feel right yet for some reason. Also, I am not sure what we will be able to do after Boma. I also didn't put Illuminations in there. I think we might end up using some of our CS credits for breakfast. We have 2 that I didn't account for. Tomorrow I am getting a wisdom tooth taken out.:scared1: Hopefully, I will feel well enough to do some planning and make index cards with our ADR numbers and our itinerary. These came in handy in 2007 (Thanks Jen! ). We also need to make our t-shirts so I need to get DH going on that. Hopefully, we will get them done.

The picture is from 2007. This was our girl's afternoon. We took the Behind the Seeds tour at Epcot and then went resort hopping. This was taken at the Grand Floridian. What a fun day!

I think your plans look great. What are you not sure about on Saturday? You did say you have mostly later reservations for dinner, right? I think you'll be ok if that's the case. For only having the time you do, I think you're in great shape. Let us know what you decide on for the shirts!

Well, I am back (minus a wisdom tooth). While I was under during the surgery I actually was dreaming I was flying above Cinderella's castle. (I think it was because I was trying to think "happy thoughts" before they put me out and of course I thought of Disney:cloud9: ). I am more sore today than I was this weekend. It was probably all of the talking I had to do while teaching. Hopefully, by the time we get to Disney I will be ready to enjoy all of our ADR's. Let's see not too much to update on besides that I made it through O.K. and I am glad it is over. We did get our MNSSHP tickets.:thumbsup2 If I get a chance I will post pictures. I already claimed the one with Cinderella and DH got the one with Mickey and friends in the teacups. They are both cute. I didn't get my index cards made. That will be one of my jobs this week. I also decided to go ahead and order the shirts online and they were sold out. So, DH is determined that he is going to make them as he had originally planned. He has some ideas down. He just needs to put them on the computer.

I guess I wasn't sure if we would make it back to MK at closing or if we would still be at Ohana's. Either way I want to end with Wishes. Our reservation on Sat is around 8:00. Does Wishes start at 9 or 10?

Three weeks from today we will be in Disney! I was so excited to change my classroom calendar to October. It is a Disney month! I still have a lot to do before now and then. Including report cards and parent/teacher conferences. I also need to organize our clothes and make sure we have everything we need. Since it is getting colder now (it finally feels like fall) I actually could start packing shirts and shorts. I still need to make my index cards. I want to put some new music and podcasts on my Ipod. I love the Dis podcasts! They have such good information. I also have been doing some research on the Food and Wine festival.

Here is a picture of DH from 2007 at one of my favorite places at Downtown Disney: Goofy's Candy Co.

Well, we made some progress on the shirts last night. DH and I went to Michael's and got iron on transfer paper. We also bought our shirts. My DH worked last night on the design. Hopefully, tonight we can finish them. I am making some "Disney" food tonight. I will post pictures when it is finished. Today during journal time (I always play "thinking music" for my students) I played the 50th Celebration of Walt Disney World which is music from the parks. They loved it! :lovestruc

I'm here! I am so excited for you trip, it sounds like it will be a blast. DH and I had a great time going to character meals while we were down there. We did LTT and Crystal Palace for both Breakfast and Lunch. We did the early morning reservation at CP and it was the best. It was so awesome being in the empty park!

:welcome: It is nice to have you along for the ride! The empty park sounds wonderful.:goodvibes The picture opportunities alone seem worth it! LTT sounds good too.

It really was worth it. I think LTT are getting rid of their characters in January which is really sad to me. I loved seeming them dressed as Colonials!

I heard that and it disapoints me that I will miss seeing them dressed up from the colonial era. They look so cute. I wonder what Disney is planning to do with their character meal?

I think they are just going to serve dinner. The food was delish. I hope they don't change that part of it.

We are back from a busy weekend getaway at my BIL and SIL's house (Hi Jen:hug: ). We had a great time! We were able to go shopping which included of course a stop at the Disney Store. We also bought some cute scrapbooking stickers. DH and I brought Disney DVD bingo to play with our neice and nephew. It was really cute. We also were able to DIS and listen to the latest podcast. It is so nice to have people in our family that share our interest in Disney! We understand each other!:grouphug: We are looking forward to going back down soon for another shopping trip and we are going to see Lion King the musical.

Happy Monday!
Last night DH made Downtown Disney Ghiradelli cookies. I was originally going to make them to take to my SIL house this past weekend. (Sorry, Jen). Unfortunatley my wisdom tooth was really bothering me so it didn't get done in time. We doubled the batch because I am going to be taking some to my family's annual pumpkin carving harvest party on Saturday. They turned out great (Good Job, DH!:thumbsup2 ). I got the recipe from All Ears. The recipe did call for double chocolate Ghiradelli chips. I couldn't find them so I used one package of milk chocolate and one package of semisweet.

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: 4 Dozen 2-1/2 inch Cookies

Ingredients:

2¼ cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
11 ounce bag of Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Chips

Method:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixer bowl, cream butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and Double Chocolate Chips. Drop tablespoon of dough per cookie onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375°F for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

If you need a chocolate fix, give these a try!;)

Ok, now I'm jealous - those sound AWESOME!!!

Not that we had a lack of sweet things to eat over the weekend...popcorn:: I'm going thorugh sweets withdrawl now!! I'll have to try this one, though.

Happy Friday!
I am so glad the weekend is here! I have a lot of things I need to get done before we leave including report cards. Tonight DH and I are going to pick out our pumpkins for our harvest party. I think while I am out I am going to get a few things for the trip. I need another memory card for my camera. I also need to stop by the travel size aisle. What is it with travel sizes that makes them so fun to buy? I love it! Oh, and I need to get Sleeping Beauty to add to my Disney collection. Which I always say is to ensure that my future children can enjoy these movies in case they are in the "Disney Vault", but honestly who am I kidding here?!:rotfl: Other things I need to do before we leave:
1.Add more music and podcasts to my Ipod
2.Make index cards
3.Organize clothes and make sure we have everything
4.Get a haircut
5.Put trading pins on my lanyard
6.Finish MNSSHP shirts

I am big on making lists. I guess that is my update for today. I will post pictures of our harvest party tomorrow. Including our Disney pumpkins, so stay tuned!:
