It's all smooth sailing from here... right? ALL DONE AND NEW TR LINK UP

Checking in, though a bit late. :wave2:
Glad to see another Charlottean on the boards :)
party: :welcome: party: There are a couple here on the DIS. If you are near a pool chances are I am or have been there !!! :lmao:

Wow, the WS was incredibly empty. I'd love to take the time to stroll through when nobody is there yet. And maybe throw away a Coke can or two. :rolleyes1

Some great pictures here!:thumbsup2

It was a nice first Full day to have it almost to myself. I was put off by the trash considering that part of the park was technically open already but obviously no one else had noticed.

Where can I get an ornament like this, with a picture-taking-Pat in it? :confused3

Well you put your ornaments up and invite me over to takes pictures of them. Then I can be in one!!! :rotfl2:

I had no clue the bakery was open early. I might have to sneak in there some time!!!

Yup Bakery opens early. Great for Breakfast. The rope is now on the other side of Les Chefs by the slushy stand. :rotfl2:

You got some great early morning pictures in an empty Epcot. :goodvibes Well, in WS at least....... I'm guessing it didn't stay that way for long during Christmas week. :scared1:

Love the pictures of the poinsettias. Great idea focusing on something so unique as the water droplets on the leaves. That gives a very interesting perspective. And I don't remember any of those decorations being in France before. What a great idea hitting up the French bakery early in the morning before things got busy! :thumbsup2

Chefs de France is still high on my list to try. I just need to figure out when I can go back and work it into my schedule.

Can't believe all that trash laying around in the park. You are right.....that is so unDisneylike! I'm guessing Walt would be :furious:

Love all the empty WS pictures, especially with all the Christmas touches. So gorgeous!
The garbage though... very surprising. I hope it was some oversight or accident or something.

Yes he does! He's sneaky that way! :lmao::lmao:

::yes::

That was arrival day for us. I remember it well.

Oh yes - I remember all the fast talking Jill had to do to get you on that flight.

I love pictures like these. Among all of the millions of dollars of 'built up' stuff that was around you, the water sitting on the flowers was a simple, beautiful thing - in my opinion, anyway.

So simple yet so special. And so easy to do while you are waiting on a rope to drop or on family to come back from potty breaks or just to stop and take a breath. :)

I really enjoy this movie. The music is wonderful.

I love being able to sit. It is a nice break from the "world" and beautiful music and scenery to boot.

Nope, never near a pool. Sadly, I can barely swim. Unless you count the doggie paddle as swimming :rotfl:

Funny, Jillyb and I found out we worked near by on these boards. Actually we are way overdue for a lunch date. :rolleyes1
And yes doggie paddle is considered swimming. If you are afloat and moving its swimming. :thumbsup2

It was a nice morning. The calm before the storm so to speak..:rolleyes1

Oh I am sure I am not the first to do that. I do think the ornaments in France were new. That was a nice touch. The French bakery is becoming a favorite early morning stop when coming in from the Beach Club.
The Marketplace is slim pickings and I don't always want to hike it to the Boardwalk Bakery.I mean sometimes you just don't want a yogurt parfait. :lmao:

Me too - hopefully soon.

I almost found a CM on the other side and dragged them by the ear to the mess. :furious:

The place is just beautiful at Christmas.

The garbage was just :sad2:

Can you tell I was killing time…? ;)

More around the area.

This was neat. It looked like flickering candles in the window but the “flame” was on a wire that moved and “flickered” the flame.

Time to walk back

An upside down Mickey head.

The keepers of the rest of the World.

I may or may not have been yelled at ( not really ) when they took down the rope, they still were not ready despite looking ready and being minutes from 10 ( opening time that day ) . A few more minutes and the few who were standing with me were released.

Oh where was that 1926 sign ?
Here.

The FP+ entrance to meet Pooh.

So now I was released and the question is: Where to?

Yikes - I am completely shocked by the mess over there in England. I guess the CMs on clean up duty took off early or fell asleep on the job.

I am a sucker for poinsettias. I love them and they are especially pretty in your pictures covered in dew. You got some great early morning pictures in the world showcase. Yes - it is very hard to believe that it was Dec 28th.

So any pictures of you and Cynthia together? I just read that you met the whole clan. Very fun!

I agree with MEK...love the shots of the poinsettias with the dew drops!

The Christmas decorations are gorgeous.

Wow, that was an empty WS. Had no idea that there was FP+ to meet Pooh. :confused3 Anxious to see how this FP+ pays out on our trip next month. Didn't really care for the tiered levels at DHS and Epcot when choosing things.

The mess was pretty shocking. The only CM I did spot was on the other side and heading backstage.

I liked the poinsettias but the ones by the Beach Club were by far the prettiest.

Disney does decorations right. :thumbsup2

Yup the FP + for Pooh was new. The tiered system is not to my liking either, especially for DHS.

I'm back and caught up. I love the Christmas decorations around the Beach Club...they do a really nice job. They have ONE computer for DVC check in? Are they crazy? What is 30 of you all show up at one time?

Nice, quiet walk through World Showcase. I can't believe the mess that wasn't cleaned up.

I don't think anyone is using that FP for Pooh and Tigger. We were there and we walked right in and there wasn't a soul around last week.

Even if 2 show up it is not enough. :lmao: I hope they renovate the area to have more computers or go back to the main lobby.

It was nice and quiet- it didn't last too long though. I was really irritated about that mess.

I do think it may just be a secret. I don't think I have ever seen Pooh and Tigger back there. Now I know what I have to add to the to - do list for next trip.

Actually we are way overdue for a lunch date. :rolleyes1

Yes we are! I've been thinking about you but just too slack to call or text. :sad2: I start radiation today. Starting next week, I'll be out on short term disability.

Looks like you were getting the hang of taking pictures with your shoulder. ;) Love the poinsettia pics!

I hope you are feeling well, JillyB, and that you and Pat can get together to catch up. And if you want to send a picture when you get together, of course that will be fine with me. :) I love seeing my Disney friends getting together out in the real world. :thumbsup2

I did see this on my phone probably right when you posted it. Been thinking about you.

Hope all goes smoothly from here on out.

If we can get our schedules together and NOT forget to take one then you will get it. :)
