It's all smooth sailing from here... right? ALL DONE AND NEW TR LINK UP

I guess FP+ is looking like a very good idea for my late December trip.

The trash can salt and pepper shakers would be perfect for you!

You are such a good friend to go shopping with Cynthia.....18 bags later. :rotfl2::worship:

I can honestly say I have never actually seen the wait times change right before my eyes. Hmmmm - watching those numbers flip would have to be a Disney first for me. When I see wait times like that I usually look away as quickly as I can. Yay for FP+. 20 mins is awesome!

Great pics!

How nice of you to take time out of your day to help Cynthia with her shopping!!

The ToT wait times are strange, but I think it could be caused by them having trouble with one of the elevators. I once heard that as soon as one elevator shaft shows sign of trouble, they immediately double the posted wait time. If it operates again, the posted wait time goes down immediately as well. So it could be that one shaft went from not working to working and then back to not working again.

A little late here but just found this.
Nice pics at DTD.
Nice pics in the lobby of BC DVC.
Surprising they had garbage lying around.
Nice pics around World Showcase.
LOL at the Godzilla pic.
I saw that Kwanzaa lady. She was good.
Too bad about the Dismeet and so glad Memom is doing well now.
Nice pics at MK.
Wow! Those lines to get in.
That is some rain.
Dinner looked nice at BOG. The restaurant is so pretty.
Nice pics of Illuminations.
WOW! 105 minutes for TOT? That is a long time for that ride.
Wow those crowds.
That is surprising the time went down.
Oh my! 150 minutes.
Great report and pics.

Yes sorry we didn't make Illuminations in May!!! Great pix of wait times:rotfl2:I now take Garbage can pix for you Pat, like I do the Hat's for Mark!!!:rotfl2:Carol knows I am crazy so just rolls her eyes !!!:rotfl2:

I find myself searching your pictures for my son Andy who was there and I believe he was on the Studios on the 30th (which was my birthday and I vaguely remember him telling me he was there that day). Funny how the time TOT kept fluctuating (Avery and I were able to get on it twice last week). Glad you got on R&R as well as TSM with FP.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see Santa Goofy (we missed him in December as well).

I'm curious about this holiday show as I never heard of it.

I would have loved to meet Andy. :goodvibes The ToT times were flipping away, I am guess they were handing out the red cards every 5 min to get wait times. The elusive Santa Goofy.... :rotfl2:

Hopefully Holiday show coming up. :)

You got a lot packed into a short time at DHS. Can't believe you didn't get a picture of your score on TSMM.........must have been really embarrassing....... :rolleyes2 Of course, you couldn't miss on a trashcan pic! :rotfl2:

And those wait times at ToT and RnR........... :faint:

:woohoo: for Santa Goofy! I would have soooooo waited in that line! ::yes::

And how nice taking Cynthia to do her shopping! 18 bags!!!

I think because of my shoulder I have more "bad or really blurry" pictures this time around. :rotfl2:

I am glad I got spend more time with Cynthia- Even in a Super Target. :rotfl2:

I was to help her out like that, usually travelling without a car and now travelling more with a car I am seeing some advantages. :)

All of these wildly fluctuating wait times are starting to make me a little seasick...good thing you could skip the lines!

I felt like I was in an episode of "Lost". :rotfl2:

Wait, for what year? If this past December, then that's nuthin!

Wow, crazy wait times for ToT. Glad you well stocked for FP+.

It was 2013. :rotfl2: I guess around here I don't feel too far behind.:confused3

Work almost broke me last week. Hopefully I can reset. Need to get moving on this and actually do it.

Those crowds and wait times look like when we were there at spring break. At one point IASW had a 90 minute wait. Definitely not like the September crowds we are used to ;)

Seems like crowds overall have increased. The way the FP+ system was at that point had a lot to do with it. I think things have shifted againsince the paper FP area gone and FP+ had additional options.

It is so nice to have a car down there to be able to get groceries. It really helps on the food bill. ::yes::

I've been seeing the themed trash can salt and pepper shakers in pictures of the DTD Co-Op. I am really thinking about getting two of them this summer. Did you ever get a chance to check them out? If anyone needs them, you do!

So, so true. :)

I am really getting used to having a car down there. Plays into my resort decision too! :rotfl2: May was POP and well they have great bus service, so no issue there. Aug is VWL and besides being near the campground was a priority, knowing it is a driving trip helps on the travel time to certain parks.
:)

I have yet to see them!!!!!! I do keep checking but I hear they sell out fast so I don't see them. When I do THEY. ARE. MINE!!! :lmao:

The way is set up now is the better version. Now not saying improvements can't be made still but at least they are heading in the right direction.

Yes I need those salt and pepper shakers.

It was my pleasure to be able to get her to the store for provisions. :rotfl:
Even if it was not park time it was great to spend some time with her. :goodvibes

ToT has the flip board and watching it flip is interesting - kind of like in "LOST" :rotfl2:

It was my pleasure, and very easy to do. :goodvibes

ToT may have been up and down... :rotfl2: Might be how many FP are let in and the standby gets longer for a bit, might be which fork in the queue you take .... hard to say. At least they are keeping it updated :confused3 But over 100 minutes is still a long wait. :lmao:

party: :welcome: party: Glad to have you over here. I don't move fast ... at least not lately. ;)

We discussed it and passed thinking we would probably be around another night but I guess with not being in walking distance this time it was just a little harder to walk over.
Hopefully next trip will have new trash cans for Mine train. :scratchin

Good Gracious again- I guess I just need to stop apologizing, this is moving so slow and probably will continue to do so. Just trying to juggle everything.

I was heading to the holiday show- which was only around for the peak crowd times.
I thought I needed to go to the theater next to AI where the Drew Carey show used to be but NOPE... I don't think the CM at the door knew where the other theater was and I didn't want to go get a map!!
:scared:

Towards the Phineas and Ferb meet area I go.

Success!!! I was directed in to the rather large theater. Shame it sits empty most of the time.

The Yule log :lmao:

Decorations on the tree. Yes that is a rubber chicken.

"Spray painted stencil" on the wall.

Apparently the “intern “ did this one. ;)

Now I know the next pictures are meaningless without the jokes but the show was set up as a variety of skits, with or without audience participation. I heard some of these guys are from the former Adventurer’s Club in DTD but since I never made it there …. I wouldn’t know.

One more stage shot with all the lights

What did I think? It was a good show. It was apparent they tried really hard to stay family friendly and went to the edge sometimes. Would I stand in a long line – no but I am glad I went and given the crowds it is a great holiday thing to do in addition to the other “available all the time” rides.

It was time to head out. On the way I had to snap a picture with Bo. Apparently he has more fans.

No trip to DHS is complete without a picture of the tree decorations.

I am sure it was walk or boat back to the room some time to relax or change for dinner.

Where was that? With Family of course, I was going to O’hana with Cynthia’s clan.

Nice update! That comedy show looks like a lot of fun! Glad you were able to find it so you could share. Finding something new to do is always a great bonus. Hopefully it WAS more meaningful with jokes included.......... :rotfl2: And thanks for the idea of decorating the Christmas tree with a rubber chicken........might have to try that next December. :scratchin Probably look good with the fiber optic lights making it change colors............ ::yes::

And too funny about marking your space to keep it from Rosie. I wish I had quoted that before it disappeared. :rotfl:

It was a change of what was normally offered at DHS that is for sure.

I did enjoy it- they would have ideas from the audience and stuff they had somewhat prepared. Mostly all improv like "Whose line is it anyway"

It was a good show, it was different and entertaining.

I wish I had seen it !!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2: Don't tell Glenn or he will be doing that as well:lmao: What a reputation I have :confused3;):rotfl2:

I am happy that they offer some special entertainment for the Christmas season! From all I know Comedy Warehouse was very popular on Pleasure Island. I remember in the olden times I used to read trip reports on other places on the internet and there was a lady who lived in Florida and kept going to WDW for long weekends and she wrote a trip report every time. Her days mainly consisted out of trying to get every single show of the evening at Comedy Warehouse. She knew all the cast and kept writing in detail about those shows. It seemed a bit over the top - but in-between she also did lots of dining and that was interesting to read!!! :goodvibes

Something unique, festive, and fun. Glad you got to do it and share with us. :thumbsup2

I sure hope they eventually reinstate Adventurers' Club or something like it. I never saw it, but it sure had a huge following. Maybe they'll do something similar as they build up Disney Springs.

I knew it would be there only a short time and good for a chuckle or two.

I think I know who you are talking about as I have read some of her reports too.

It was a cute show and I was glad I made the effort. :goodvibes

It was a festive and fun show. Gave me a chance to get out of the damp or cold and sit and relax a bit and laugh.

I think the club idea was good at first but over time I think the clubs were attracting an "element" that became undesirable to Disney.

I do hope they come up with something family friendly for DTD.

That rubber chicken is a hoot! :rotfl2:

And the backwards stencil! Brilliant!

Glad you found the show and enjoyed it!

I didn't just want a picture with Bo. I wanted a picture with you AND Bo! :confused3

Getting myself caught up today, I am behind as usual, work has been really busy but you understand about that...

I definitely want to try BOG next trip, I might have to do both lunch and dinner, LOL. Too bad it was so dark and cramped for too many pics.

Sounds like the FP+ has been working well for you so far.

I love that Etch a Sketch at TSMM!

What theater is that where the Christmas show was? is that indoor or outdoor? Is that the one where Beauty and the Beast used to be??

I am pretty sure I have been in that Theatre. I think that is where Doug Live used to be and my older kids were big fans of the show many years ago. I heard it just sits now, and that looks just like it from what I remember.
