It was kind of fun to "work" the system. I think I will mourn the old FP for a while- I always liked collecting them. Hopefully FP+ will open up a similar option to continue to get FP+ after you exhaust the 3 you can book in advance. THe PIrates adventure was fun - they are pretty short so if you are in ADventureland with about 10-15 to kill it is perfect.

I had fun catching up this afternoon. Wow!! I would so like to visit at holiday time and explore the story tellers and decorations. Looks so magical!!!

Glad you caught up - Holiday time is special. The place transforms into gingerbread smelling magic.

Before they did away with the paper fast passes you could use your traditional room key and an annual pass (if you had one) in addition to your band. This was during the testing phase for the magic bands!

Yup - And somehow your old room keys still worked too. I am sure they knew but also knew it would be short lived.

I would have been proud obtaining that many FP's too! I know it was due to the conversion not being complete, but that was a good time to be there.

My favorite secret bathroom by Pirates! I always go in there.

I was glad to be there and have that experience. A whole new adjustment with the FP+ and the potential changes are unsettling. I will get used to it but int he mean time I need to adjust.

When the "cut through" bathroom gets too busy I duck in there now.

This might be something for Brooklynn, Bella, and I to try out this summer on our 'MeMom and Us' days before Jill arrives.

I wish we were walking around Adventureland this morning. Only 12 weeks from Wednesday, though, so we are getting closer and closer.

That will be a great activity for the MeMom and US days. You could get the Sorcerers cards too.

I really need a trip to recharge my batteries.

Well, look at you testing out your theory and ending up with 3 FP's. I wish I had tried that in October, but it never even occurred to me or maybe I just didn't need the FP's that much.

I will admit - you must have to WORK to get that wet on pirates. What the heck???????

That adventure looks really cool. I love games like that where you find hidden details in the bigger details of the park. It's so cool. I am a "big picture" person and I am terrible at details, so games like that allow me to use a different part of my brain. Love the spoiler - that is too cute!

I figured I will try to see what the "loopholes" were while I could.

I found that bathroom a few years ago and still forget it is there. I think the cut through one by Magic Carpets was really busy so I opted to go there.

A wet backside is never pleasant.

The Pirates Adventure is pretty short and quick to do. If you ever have a few minutes ( 10-15) to kill in adventureland waiting for a FP+ to come due then it is perfect. The Sorcerer game does seem to take a bit longer and is more spread out.

After pulling some extra FP's and having a Pirate Adventure. I did some wandering.

In my wanderings I did see this:



I know this does not give a great indication of where it is but it is a small area.



Somehow I remember since I pulled many FP for BTMRR, I did not need my FP + so I changed it. I also heard ( from Tim) that someone else said you could partially change your FP but not finalize it, check in for the original FP+, then finalize the change and essentially have another FP+.

Well, they closed that loophole in the code.

But I had a FP + for HM now



Never noticed the wreath on the door. The dead wreath……



And without the good camera – only darkness inside the ride.

With the weather holding, the FP window for BTMRR was open.

I think I decided to take the monorail to the TTC to go to the car to retrieve the good camera. The rain was holding but I knew not for too long and I knew I needed the good one for later and the waterproof one was not cutting it to my liking.

Will I make it back before the monsoon hits?

A teeny tiny bit. I think that's when I decided I could make the run to the car for the "good" camera.
WE shall see if that turned out to be a good decision.

There is one on the back path between Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland and I believe that picture is in Adventureland but a very small area. I am thinking somewhere by Pirates or Jungle Cruise maybe.

Well thanks I was waiting for heavy rain that never really came. Lots of little detail left to photograph. Many reasons to go back.

I made the choice to leave the MK and go retrieve my "good" camera from the car at the TTC. I looked at the radar and had a window where I should make it back before more rain was due. It was now or never because I had a DISmeet to get to.

I made the dash to the car. As I was speed walking back I started to feel some light rain. I was hoping to make it back under cover before the bottom fell out.
Safely back on the monorail and back through bag check and on Main street.

Yikes – The whole trip took about 40 minutes.





Don't let that little patch of blue fool you , it was surrounded by angry water filled clouds.



I had to get to SM to meet up with Cynthia and her Family. Or at least some of them.

I waited in front of SM but off to the side a bit. I saw the boys come strolling over to the planter and well plant it. They came, they sat and waited. I texted Cynthia that the boys had arrived safe and were sitting. Since I had not met them yet, I waited until I saw Cynthia and Jeff come up because I might freak the boys out if I called them by name.


We rode and since all I have uploaded is the redneck pic here is the proof.
At least I remembered to take that one....



Now here is where we parted. By this time it was either just starting to rain or it was raining and it had let up a tiny bit. They needed a snack and to get over to R & C in EPCOT for CP and I had a date with the beast later.

You will love Flower and Garden. So busy at work and hard to carve out a couple of days. But hearing about all the plans from Rosie and Cynthia ( and you ) make me want to find a cheap flight, cheap room ( no points left ) and escape for a couple of days. Would love to see you and spend some time with you.

Yeah it was a great way to meet up. We were able to meet up a couple of time but all too brief.
It was kind of a mom moment when I saw them doing just as I thought they would be told. I know Cynthia was wondering whether to give the boys freedom and worried how that would actually work or if it would work.

I figured as a mom she was like to know that when she is not there to see it, the boys were following directions and early for their meet.
