It's all smooth sailing from here... right? ALL DONE AND NEW TR LINK UP

I'm glad you retrieved the good camera before the skies opened up. And I'm never fooled by blue clouds at Disney anymore.

Smart move on waiting for Cynthia and Jeff to arrive before chatting with the boys. But with all of Cynthia's DIS meets they might not have been freaked out at all.

Glad you got the redneck photo to prove you wrote SM together.

Oh bother. How did I miss you started this. THREE MONTHS AGO????

Lame lame friend.

Off to catch up.

Well, all that rain obviously stinks. But meeting up with Cynthia and crew would brighten the day, right?

Hahaha, good lookin' out waiting for Cynthia and Jeff before chatting up the boys. :rotfl2:

I know right??? THey might have been yelling for security. :rotfl2:

I thought I was going to have a washout all day. I took a good look at the radar and figured it was then or never. :lmao:

A horrible blurry "can hardy tell who is in the picture", redneck picture but I took one. :rotfl2:

Lame lame friend.

Um because you are busy and have your own TR to keep up with and multiple trips???

I guess the bigger question might be how did I miss it? Oh I didn't you did post, post #32 to be exact.

Not Lame.... Awesome friend just busy... :goodvibes

The rain sure put a bit of a damper on the day but being able to meet up and ride with Cynthia and her family was fabulous.

Clearly it did NOT stop raining! Boo!

We had a day like that in October where the sogginess won out and I finally had o admit defeat!

OK - worst red neck ride photo EVER! :rotfl2: I can't even recognize you! :rotfl2:

Not cool about the rain. When it comes to bad weather, I'm definitely NOT as careful with my camera as I probably should be!
Probably for the best that you waited for Cynthia and avoided a "stranger danger" situation with the boys! :lmao:

Oh just wait- You saw Cynthia's soggy pictures.

It was just a strange trip weather wise. I mean you make the best of it but sometimes you just want to give up.

Can I blame running by the photo and my shoulder???

I never leave my camera. threat of rain - no problem I usually just cover it the best I can, but take it anyway. Unless I am in the pool then I take the waterproof. It was supposed to be THAT bad that even I didn't want to take the chance. When it turned out to be mostly cloudy and crummy but not monsooning then I went for it. Mother Nature watched me, and got me. :rotfl2:

A long time ago..... my nephew was about 2 or 3 and the whole family was together for a wedding and we ended up at dinner. We were riding back to the same place but maybe they couldn't all fit in the same car?
In the end we took the nephew with us back tot he house and well he screamed the WHOLE way- like stranger danger screams. :rotfl2: Funny now but we scared the dickens out of him. Luckily it was a short ride.

I mean really we ate dinner together but as soon as Mom and Dad were gone -- he was kidnapped. :confused3 I remember telling his parents that any kidnapper would bring him right back because of all the screaming. :rotfl2: -I am way more careful with kids I have not met. :rotfl2:

I remember you telling me about this when you came to Pop to visit. I asked how the weather had been, and you said that on clear days it had been cold and on rainy days it had been warm. The girls did get to swim a couple of times, which they were happy about, but I also know the last night when Jill wheeled me across the bridge to try to see the AoA Christmas tree, it was freezing! :cold:

For our trip in eleven weeks, I don't think we'll have to wonder too much about the weather. Mid-July will be hot, hotter, and hottest with afternoon thunderstorms. :cool2:

Ok I think I am caught up! a few comments and not necessarily in order

I had similar issues trying to get that Epcot tree picture

Odd on the change in DVC check in at the BC and BOO on the text fail. I think with this past trip I may be running 60/40 on the texts coming through.
Still 45 min, for that??? Sounds a LOT like my BWV check in for sure.

YUCK on the not clean park. That is so not acceptable. I mean I suppose technically with WS wasn't open yet right? But still…

New bathroom??

Ok this is lame but I used it, maybe more than once that trip…and didn’t realize it was new. Just figured I'd missed it before. :lmao:

Loving all the Santa Granpdas

Ahh Storytellers, SO jealous. Good backup for VOL in the rain

In my wanderings I did see this:

I know this does not give a great indication of where it is but it is a small area.

:lmao:

What do I see as I am heading out after my rides… the Christmas parade.

Yup that is the only shot I got.

We were not all that far away from you during the parade!

We rode and since all I have uploaded is the redneck pic here is the proof.
At least I remembered to take that one.... :lmao:

:lmao:

here is the real deal

December/ January weather can be strange and a mixed bag but this was just some not ideal combinations.

Summertime is easy - like you said hot, hotter, and hottest with afternoon thunderstorms.:lmao:

BCV has not been kind with the texts. OKW was the one that sent me one while I was approaching downtown Orlando on my way to officially check in. :lmao:

Not sure when I am booking BCV to check if they made that a permanent change- I am thinking it was for the holidays.

I really thought I may have a problem taking pictures at first. But as I got used to it,it got easier but still holding it up for long periods really reminded me how weak it was.

I saw something about the new bathroom but after 2009 where I found every "2 seater" in EPCOT I knew it was needed. :rotfl: That place is HUGE.

Thanks for the real picture, I had that link already done and have not even uploaded all of the trip yet much less the PP. :rotfl2:

Breaking News for all those not up or able to be in from of the Disney blog this morning

Seven Dwarfs Mine train "officially" opens May 28th. Key words from Tom Staggs..... ...... fully open May 28th.

So for everyone going in the month of May .... look for soft openings!!! :hyper:

Cynthia and clan and I parted ways at SM. It was starting to drizzle and well they were making a run for it and I knew I would not make it anywhere.
It started pouring by 3 o’clock it was like this.

Where was I? – in the SM arcade way in the back sitting in a window watching it all come down.

Even the peoplemover was stopped and well these people were basically stuck there.

I probably sat for a good 30 minutes. I had my seat, I was looking at radar and probably charging my phone and just relaxing. Was it crowded and noisy- probably but not too bad.
Once radar and my eyes saw that it was going to let up for a bit I could make my move towards Beast’s Castle.

There may have been a walk around the circus tent to kill some time before heading to Enchanted tales with Belle. That was my third and final FP+ for the day.

As I wait to be checked in more pictures of the Mine train.

The big drop.

And the general area around BoG.

My dwarf name came out as "Healthy" -- I obviously answered something wrong! :lmao:

Looks like you found a nice spot to wait out the rain. Dry anyway, and if you could charge your phone that was a plus. I couldn't figure out where you were from the first picture and I could tell that you were behind glass with rain droplets on it, but was having trouble coming up with where the train would come by so close.

Thanks for the pictures around New Fantasyland. I won't see it in person until 2015!

WOW! That looks like the rain we had in June and August. I really think there should be a rule that no monsoons can happen when WE (that includes all of my DIS friends) are at Disney.

You got some great pictures while you waited for Enchanted Tales with Belle.

You did really well waiting it out!!!!!!!!!! You know what happened to us

:lmao:

Ok, I almost split a gut with this one

Seriously???????????????????????

I mean I know it but...

wow.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: so appropriate!

My name is Smiley! :rotfl2: How the HECK did that happen?????? :confused3

Holy Monsoon! I finally hit consistent rain last october and I have to say that it finally made me miserable and I left. I was OVER it!

I love your gargoyle pictures. Fantastic. You got some great face shots! Nice work!

But now, with the new and improved Fastpass system, you can have MORE! :dance3:

Since there is almost always a Disney friend down there, that would pretty much assure them to remain monsoon-free. ::yes::

We had that a few summers ago. A tropical storm was sitting over Florida, and after a while, as happy and as positive as I think we are when we are in Disney World, it started to wear on us. Sloshing little girls through and around puddles and waiting in the rain in bus and queue lines kind of gets to you after a few days. When it finally stopped, the rest of the trip was fabulous.

Hi Pat! I'm all caught up again! :wave2: How fun that you had time to stroll through an empty WS and get such great pics. Taking time to see all of the storytellers is a nice Holidayish thing to do.

Too bad MeMom was so sick. I remember someone posting and asking for prayers. What a horrible way to spend a trip. Sounds like she needs a do-over!

Crazy rain at MK. Good thing you found a place to wait it out. I feel for those people on the People Mover - been there - don't want to do it again. :rotfl2:

I have been following your latest TR but I don't think I posted anything yet. I was quite a few pages behind but I'm caught up now. :)

Too bad the day was so dreary, but you got a lot done before the rain came. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to get to finally see the New Fantasyland. I love that creek and waterfalls by the Beast's Castle, makes for a nice Photo spot.
