Oh my goodness, we were at baseball last night. Hurricane force winds. At times the boys were almost blown over. Pitchers balking and they couldn't help it because of the wind.
Cold, wet, windy. What a combination.
At least we won.

If your winds were anything like ours yesterday, I have no idea how they managed to play a baseball game in that! We had gusts up to 68 mph for goodness sake - not good being outside weather at all.
Our high school games were canceled due to the wind warnings. I guess the guys in charge of the tournament just wanted to get the games played no matter what.

I'm not Pat (obviously!) but we're in the same area so I'll answer. We had some rain and it's been extremely windy all day but our area missed the worst of it. Those in the Raleigh area weren't so lucky.

We had some windy weather. Some rain overnight last night and some brief periods of downpours this morning. A strong line came over about noon - right when I predicted it would - one lightning bolt and one clap of thunder, heavy rain and in less than 30 minutes it was sunny.
it was a bit nutty since i was at work. I went to stand outside and watch because I knew it was coming. I watched it just come in and roll over us. IT was moving fast, that was a bit scary but the storm itself was strong but not really scary. We only had the pool closed for 30 minutes for weather.
Very happy my DIS friends weathered the storms and came out safe and sound~
Sometime our Jen girl is going to have to make an announcement about that girls trip....
