POOR Marc, spends 60 bucks to get you into the party so you can have hot cocoa and cookies, "actually" listens to your hints and then plans for months in advance on getting you something SPECTACULAR for Christmas, then he goes into sneaky mode and plans on giving it to you in such a "thoughtful and MAGICAL" way......to top all that off, he apparently has forgotten every word he has ever uttered and RENTED a vehicle and WHAT DOES HE GET??.......

Wowser, what a beautiful ring set. I did get the connection with the Dwarfs & the diamonds, what a cute way to get a gift.

My DH wanted me to keep my original set, but I finally upgraded this fall. The old set got melted to make the new ring.

I'm enjoying your TR so far, I find these great ones from Podsnel, Charleston Princess & a few others. So far I've enjoyed all that I've found.

What a wonderful surprise from your prince !! I will be there for my Anniversary in July - maybe a dwarf will whisper in my hubbys ear !

I think I got some pixie dust.... I added an additional day onto our trip at the beginning of the trip. Well when I checked the reservation, they made that one day a different reservation instead of adding it onto the existing one. When I called member services they said it was no big deal and that we would not have to change rooms, so I asked if I could do the deluxe dining for that one day (not for 6 days - wayyy toooo much food!) and she no problem and I promptly booked Narcoosees! So the question is... Do I cancel my waitlist at the BC because that is for all 7 days in a row and would lose my deluxe dining day, or just wait and see what happens with that waitlist... Decisions decisions BC or Narcoosees - what would you do?

I would just wait and see what happens to the waitlist. Think of all the days at SAB...
So if you don't get the waitlist the consolation prize would be the ddp and Narcoosees....

I hope it works out!! Just make sure that they are different reservation numbers, but that they note not to change your rooms, as long as it is in the same hotel. You will probably have to check out and get new kttw made but other than that sounds like it should work out well!!

Hey Anita, I just read over on the DVC forum that you can now segment your week so that you can do DDP on some nights and DXDP on others. Do you know anything about this. That would be great so if my waitlist comes thru I am good to go!!

Just read your LTT update too - I find it a tad hilarious that the CM went to all that trouble and energy to be rude telling you that you'd have to wait--and then you were called immediately. Almost makes you want to walk past her and stick out your tongue...

It was an early morning flight that took us to Disney. Typically we would run to make our connection in Atlanta but not today. We had a layover. A BIG one. So we had breakfast and pixie dusted a couple of troops that were traveling and eating near us. Such a small way to thank them for what they were doing for us all! We left before they got the surprise...
Headed to our gate and waited to take off.

That waas nice of you to buy their breakfast!



We were a little late for our ADR at LTT so we rushed in that direction. So pictures on the way....
We walked in and I explained that we had just arrived to Florida and apologized for our tardiness expecting the typical Disney graciousness. WRONG! The CM that checked us in was rude. She told us that we would just have to wait until they had something available. So we sat.
They called us immediately.

Here's what we had.
The typical evening fare....

It's too bad she was rude to you. We got there on time or maybe early and we had to wait for maybe 10 minutes or so!



Elena uncw89, John and Michael were eating at LTT around the same time as us and we saw them come in....
It seems that John spied us too!
Elena and Michael came over and said hi!

When we sat down, I saw you and told John that you all were over there. He said,"Yeah, I thought that was your friends!

DIS friends turned REAL friends!!!!


Dessert came...

After we finished up our apple crisp alamode I spent a little more time visiting with Elena and fam while they waited for their food. We were hoping she could hang around in the park after dinner while her guys went back.
The problem?
She didn't have a ticket for the party....
She would text us.
Bundling up, we made out way out into the chilly damp night.

Yep, they asked if we had tickets and I said, "no!" So We got a personal escort to the front gate!! Im not sure what I did then. I didn't take any pictures that night! I think the boys went back to the room, maybe I wandered around the Boardwalk. I don't remember!

I've a saver too. Like to have that special occasion to use the bag or piece of clothing!
If you decide to get the cruise bag, be sure to get it early in the cruise, they will get picked over. Ask to see them all. Some have better placement of the ship, characters and such....
I did see that offer.
I can't decide what or if I'm needing a bag right now.

We enjoyed our meal. It was just the stick to your ribs sort of meal we needed that night!
It was fun seeing Elena and family that night. It wasn't a chance meeting....

It was the perfect food for the chilly night!

The quick seating and the fact that we were on our first night of the trip made her rude behavior something we pretty much ignored.
The meal and meet were super!

I know that diner at LTT isn't a favorite of many folks. Have you been there for lunch? We really like their lunch! As it was though, with the party and our arrival time, it was the best choice for us.
I think MK needs more choices for TS too!

We haven't been for lunch! We'll have to try it. MK does need more TS!!!

I'm a big fan of the ham, I wish I would have had more of it!
That night was so damp and getting colder by the minute. We needed something filling after flying all day.

Typically I would just chalk it up to her having a bad day, but.....
Yes, if you think you want a cruise bag, get there early and check out the different placement of prints!

I don't think they even asked us where we were from...

Those two guys in their fatigues, looked so young, I imagine they were headed home for the holidays. It was the least we could do.

It was fun meeting up with Elena first thing. It wasn't our last meet up either!

It was Baylor's year to be with his dad, and then when he had the choice he decided that we were staying too long.

It wasn't that big of a gesture to pick up the tab for their breakfast, although they did seem to be quite hungry!

We didn't let the CM get us down, it was our first night in Disney and we were on that high when your trip is laid out before you.
You all know the feeling, right?

So we headed out into the cold, damp evening, and yes we were bundled up! I was more prepared for the weather than my dear husband. He did have the hat though. It was a gift from one of my students but I agreed that he would wear it!
I texted first thing with Mary (maryaz) to check on their where abouts as I knew she and the girls were attending the party tonight. She got right back to me that they were about to get on Pooh so we made our way back to Fantasyland. I'll just mention that the wind was picking up or seemed to be back in that area of the park and it was down right cold!
I however was excited get a look at the new que for the Pooh ride!

We met up with Mary, Avery, and Cayley, who were dressed as all beautiful princesses should be in their gowns. I on the other hand with my iphone and no light or flash, couldn't get a picture from where we were so I didn't and this proved to be a HUGE error on my part. Should have had Marc take one there and then.....
We visited for a minute and headed over to see the 7 dwarfs who were all out for the party.
The girls decided that they wanted to ride Small World so we THOUGHT we would meet up after.....
Hence no picture this night.... (post note) just read on Mary's report, due to the fact that it was so cold they went back to their resort. I don't blame them a bit!
You will all have to head to Mary's TR for her pictures (which I will need to do too!) totally tardy...
Marc and I had a short wait for the Diamond Mine.

When it was our turn I headed up and started hugging the guys and got in place for a photo and then noticed that Marc was not with me!
OK, what was going on???

Then Dopey turned around and held out his hands and he had a special order that I had placed at the Halloween party.....

It was my Christmas gift from Marc.
A new wedding set.
The photo pass pictures have many more and when we get the CD I'll post those as well.

Marc hopped in and we had a few more pictures made and then moved on...

Our next stop was for some hot chocolate, this was our clue that it was here!

We took some pictures behind the castle, rode HM, then headed over for fireworks...

As we watched the fireworks I texted pictures to Megan in attempts to get Harper excited for our March trip.

I think it must have been the dampness, the cold, the lack of sleep, but after the fireworks we were ready to go.
The parade I knew we would have the chance to see throughout the week.
So with that we made our way down Main Street taking in the beauty we had missed on our way in....

Did we get to meet up with Elena?
No....
They were escorted out with the other non-wristband wearers.

I bought the next to largest D&B bag on the cruise last summer. I asked the CM in the gift shop to bring everything she had in that size out so I could look at them to pick the one I liked best.

I don't blame you for asking the CM to bring them out for you. I did that at WOD for my med sketch bag and wristlet! John and Michael thought I was crazy! The CM was nice, she said she didn't blame me! She even packed up in several bags with tissue so it wouldn't get messed up. I had them send it to the resort!
For the cruise one I had my friend get it for me and she didn't really know to look at the placement....so the placement is just OK. I think they brought her one out of the back, it still had paper on the handles. I got the tassle tote and the wristlet.I knew I wasn't going last year and I wanted one, so at least I got one!
I like them both, although I haven't used the wristlet yet! I like the navy trim and the colors seem to stand out more than the sketch. The sketch bag is a little bigger than what I usually carry and the handle could stand to be a little longer. IMO
The 40th anniv messenger looks like it would be a good size for me. I'm not to sure about the size of the cruise ones. I'll have to wait till you go and give your opinion. Or when I go in Aug.

I have searched for a 40th anniversary bag and have only found the 55th Disneyland bag. It's very cute! I hope they come out with it or maybe they have and I am not finding it....
