My packing is 99% completed! All our clothes are in the suitcases, shoes are in bags beside the suitcase, carry-ons are almost packed, bag for the Park 'n' Fly hotel is almost packed too! All we have to do Thursday morning is throw the things in that we will use that day and load eveything into the car.

And Zappos came through once again! When I got home from work last night that box was sitting in my living room! They are slightly different than my old ones, not broken in at all. But I think we will make a good team by next Friday!

I can't believe we leave in five days!

With the packing about finished and paperwork in order there isn't a lot that still needs my attention. Monday I have a hair appointment and Thursday morning I get a pedicure. I think I am set!

I have used them before but had never had cause to try their expedited delivery offerings. I recommend them 110%. And the sandals are VERY comfortable!! Even better.

I am always packing at the last minute too. But I don't have that option this trip. I teach every day this week until we leave. In fact, I teach until 9:00 PM on Thursday night and we will leave as soon as I walk in the door that evening. It was either that or wait until 4:00 AM Friday to drive to the airport. No way were we going to chance DC and Baltimore traffic for a morning flight.

I'm the same way. The fact that I have anything ready to pack right now is a miracle. But Jay and I have the "night-before" packing ritual down to a science. Of course, it's always easier when it's just two people.

Actually ... we may not attend that now. The restaurant wants us to pay in advance, which is fine, but they will only let us do so in person and they are 45 miles from our house and not at all convenient or close to where either of us work.

I've left a message for the general manager basically stating that if they will book us over the phone they will make an easy $100 on us for that night otherwise they will lose money, customers, and good word of mouth via blog reviews. We'll see what happens.

Thanks, Mary. I am a half-full kind of person too. We have been at WDW during drought and fires, hurricane remnants and beginnings, freezing cold and blazing hot. It is still my favorite place to be (followed very closely by the beach).

That is just crummy business sense! I did read that you are doing a Scotch pairing the same night, so all is not lost!

They don't serve lunch there, unfortunately. There is a character breakfast and a "clam bake" style buffet dinner. Both are often sold out. So, if you sre interested in either of those, I would say you night want to try to book it online or call WDW Dining and make a reservation.

Wow... my hand-dandy desktop countdown says we leave in 59 hours! That seems like more than 2 days to me, but I will go with my ticker at the bottom of the page. I guess I have three sleeps to go. I am having trouble sleeping so that makes it hard. But only two of those sleeps are here at home. The last night we will be at the airport!

Also, Bob has to go out of town on business tomorrow and Thursday! He will be back home before I get done teaching on Thursday evening, but YUCK! I am glad 99% of his packing is done.

Sorry to hear you all have been sick! Hope you are all on the mend and getting back to normal.

I may post some from the villa since we will have free internet access. And then I will need to turn this PTR into a real one and have the mods move it over there!

I just took myBob to meet his boss for their out-of-town trip. We were both shocked and dismayed to hear him say they might need to stay up there tomorrow night too!

If that happens, his boss has promised to get Bob to the airport in time for our flight on Friday morning. His boss was shocked to hear that I would leave without Bob if they weren't there! He doesn't know me very well, does he?

I have a feeling they will do everything in their power to come home tomorrow night. The boss said they would try to be back by 7:00 at the latest. I don't get off work until 9:00 so that would be OK. His packing is all done.
