Well it's 16 days till my due date and I am getting to that fed up point!! As I've had gestational diabetes I have been in hospital every other week for checks and today was my last scan and consultant appointment. He's a lovely size already, just under 8lb, :scared1: . Anyway they have booked me in for an induction on my due date if he doesn't come before. Please send PD, that he comes asap!! I am on tender hooks as Evie came at 36 weeks, so for the last 2 weeks have been convinced he'll arrive early!! Evie bless her was just 6lbs, so this one will seem huge in comparison!!

Sending pixie dust that the baby comes soon :wizard::wizard::wizard: Hope you are not too uncomfortable for much longer :hug::hug:

You must be so excited. I bet Evie can't wait to meet her little brother or sister.
I took a present into the hospital for my eldest Ds who was 3 when I had my younger son. I told him it was from the baby so that he didn't feel left out.
Both were 8ib 3oz. One was 4 days late and one 10 days early.
Congratulations.:flower3:

:wizard::wizard: Sending you all lots of hugs and pixie dust Verity for an early arrival, I can't wait to see some photos of your little one :wizard::wizard:

fingers crossed Verity ! Matthew was a full two weeks over his due date and i was climbing the walls

good luck :wizard::wizard::wizard:

good luck and hopefully he will arrive soon. My friend is on her 3rd pregnancy and her 1st 2 boys both arrived 5 weeks early, she was certain that this one would too, but no she's now 9 days overdue and is off into hospital tonight to be induced in the morning.

I've been thinking of you today Verity
Sending lots of PD and hoping you're soon cuddling the little chap.

Fingers crossed your little boy arrives soon for you! 8lbs is a good size! Megan was 8lb 3oz when she was born a week early :)

I know how you fell, i was pretty fed up by the end too! That was the only plus side about having to have a scheduled caesarean - they like to do it a week early so i didnt have to wait too long :) which is a good thing as Megan was showing no signs of being ready to come out!!

I hope your baby arrives on time, try Raspberry tea, a hot curry and a big walk worked for me on my due date with ds!

Good luck. I hope he arrives early.

My first daughter was 15 days overdue, they tried to induce me twice, before eventually they broke my waters she still wasn't budging and 15 hours later they admited that there was no way she was coming willingly and I had to have a section. Luckilly my second little girl was much more eager and was 4 days early. :)

I bet you can't wait to meet him. :)

i hope you don't have to wait, too much longer,to meet your new little boy:)
are you having him,at kings mill? that's where i was born, many moons ago!
hope everything goes well:thumbsup2
tracy

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. Evie is excited, but a bit nervous I think. She's been very clingy to me which is v unusual for her, she'll be fine!!

Ye he will be a King's Mill baby, like Evie. :goodvibes

I hope your little boy arrives soon Verity to complete your little pair :goodvibes

Lots of pixie dust for an arrival before he's actually 'due' :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I hope your son arrives soon.:wizard:

I made sure that my children were the first official visitors of the new baby to make them feel special. I don't know how old Evie is but we let the eldest phone relatives with the 'news' so that she felt important and part of the proceedings.:goodvibes

Sending you lots of pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: Verity.

The last few weeks are always the worst, but try and enjoy it as much as you can, before your new little bundle arrives:lovestruc:lovestruc

I missed this thread before. Hope it goes well Verity. :wizard:

Can't wait to see some pics of your little Prince. :)

I missed this thread too .
Hope everything goes well and the little man is here real soon.

Whenever I had a new baby we made sure the older kids were first to see the baby and that we had a small gift for each of them from the baby - my kids loved that and when we got to number 4 my eldest told me what he would like the baby to buy lol
