It's a Small World

Has there been an opening date set yet for It's a Small World? I just keep hearing Spring. Thanks for your help.

I haven't seen a firm set in stone date yet. I'm sure speculated dates will start soon.

i read somewhere when we were at wdw that it was slated to reopen in may '05... that would make sense, in keeping w/the disneyland anniversary celebration planned for wdw...

Does anyone know what is actually being done to Small World? Are they just refurbishing, or are they changes things as well?

I think I read on Deb's board that it would reopen in March of 2005! Can't wait to drag my then almost 17, gasp, yo DS on it! It is his favorite ride, lol!

It's supposed to be just a refurbishment.

One of the things they are doing is changing the way the ride loads and the queue line runs. They are also are putting the stroller parking area where the loading area for the skyway used to be.

i've seen posted on a website (not sure which 1) that they're taking everything out and starting from scratch it even has pictures of it

and i had heard that they were re-doing the voices... looks like there's lots of rumors out there... guess as soon as it opens we will all be looking forward to a report!
