Does anyone know if the It's a Small World rehab will be completed by week of March 19th?

Doubtful. I know they show it through the June calendar on allearsnet.
It's another reason to "have to go back"!

No one knows for sure, but the official WDW position continues to be that it is scheduled for reopen on 3/18/05.

Just checked both allearsnet.com and mouseplanet.com and their sites continue to say 3/18/05 reopen.

Don't understand ErinInCT's comment.

Best of luck!

Sign on it a week ago said May 2005, CM said May hopefully but it may be longer. :confused3

Any sites I have looked at say Spring 2005 for reopening.

Oh no! I thought it would be open by our April trip. I'm very sad now.... Three trips to WDW with no Small World just doesn't sound right! Of course, we'll just keep going back til it's open! :teeth:

Oh, no! I'm taking Mom to WDW for Mother's Day and the one thing she most wants to do is IASW. Let's hope for a March opening! Anyone know why the opening may be delayed?

They're doing an awful lot of work in the facility, and as they dig deeper -- behind the tiles and insulation and asbestos and all the rest -- they find other things to fix and clean. So it's not a regular rehab where they know they're doing tasks 1-5 and then they'll be done. This is the equivalent of emptying out your entire house, scrubbing and repainting it from top to bottom -- inside and out -- and then repairing, cleaning and renovating every single thing inside your house before you put it back.

It's a big job.

I saw a recent picture of the former "entrance room" on another site (Oh, the shame). Judging from that picture there is a LOT of work to be done. Everything is just gray/beige and scaffolding is up all over the place, Combine that with the other changes I have heard they are making in the queue area, and it sounds like March might be a tad optimistic.

Do you know if they are planning on "changing" it at all? Just wondering if it's still going to be the same. I pretty much can repeat the entire ride from start to finish in my head with all the times dd has made me go on it in the past 3 years LOL:p

Would be nice to have a little bit of a change:teeth:
