its a small world has reopened

the queue was redone... entrance and exit areas have been flipped

Great! :thumbsup2 And you give me a little hope for Pooh-- it's supposed to open again on the 15th of Nov, but our first day in MK is the 14th, so I've got my fingers crossed for an early open there! (If not we'll be back later in the week, so as long as it's "on time" we'll be ok.... but still, it's the kids' favorite ride, so it sure would be great to have it ready on our first day!)

My kids were perfectly happy that the ride was closed a few weeks ago. :rotfl2:

Our oldest had to sing The Song at school in kindergarten or first grade.

She really hates the song and the ride. I don't think she has even been on the ride. :rotfl2::cool1: But she hates it. Our youngest will get on the ride with grandma because it is grandma. Otherwise she would just skip the ride. We all stay away from the ride as much as possible. :)

Later,
Dan

I don't understand how that works unless the reverse the entire ride. Or what the point is.

The exit ramp is much longer that the old entrance so it allows for more people in line.

It works very simply. You used to get in on right side and out on left. You now get in on left and out on right.

So, characters or no characters????

Who is riding that can spot changes???

What have they done to my IASW?

You enter and exit the boat on the opposite sides...that's my guess, anyway.

I'm sure they had some reason.

I believe it's to ease the congestion that takes place right outside the entrance when the line backs up.

Oh, right, I forgot that was how it was set up. I was thinking empty boats come in to the entry area. I don't pay too much attention, to be honest.

We will be at MK on Saturday! I was so hoping it would be re-opening on time so that we could ride on DD's bday!

Thanks for the update, safetymom!

Will be riding on Mon:woohoo: It was grandma's favorite ride. She could hardly walk when we took her to the Magic Kingdom in 1977, but she had to go on that ride. I think of her whenever I go on it. :littleangel: I'm glad it's open again.

no characters. queues reversed, that's all.
